Wedding Mexican catering in Egypt, served fresh
We can cater the wedding breakfast, the evening food or both. A taco bar for the meal and loaded nachos or tacos for the evening works well. For receptions after a small ceremony and vow renewals and blessings, we can serve tacos, a taco bar for the wedding breakfast and fresh guacamole and salsas and more.
A wedding in a small place like Egypt often means a field, a barn or a family garden. A truck or trailer works well there: no kitchen, just firm ground and access. Let us know about access, ground, power and water. Everything is prepared fresh for your wedding and served from our truck or trailer, so guests get it at its best.
How it works
We arrive in good time before service, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. A winter wedding in Egypt gets dark early, at about 4:00pm in December, so the evening food will be served after dark. Ask your venue what outdoor lighting it has near where we will park.
- We start by checking your date.
- You choose the fillings, sides and extras.
- We confirm access and the serving spot with your coordinator.
- Food is served from the taco bar or the hatch.
- After serving, we clear away.
How to prepare
- Give us a contact for the day
- Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time
- Ask the venue about power and water

Working with your venue
Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we’ll work to it.
If you are planning an event on someone’s behalf, whether you’re a planner, an office manager or an event organiser, we’ll work directly with you and the venue. It saves passing messages back and forth.
Common questions in Egypt
Is Egypt close to London?
About 58 miles from central London.
Could you serve our guests after a service at Ebenezer Methodist Chapel?
Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.
Do you work with our venue?
Yes, it makes life easier. Introduce us and we’ll sort the details.
Can you do the wedding breakfast and evening food?
We can cater as much or as little of the day as you like, from the wedding breakfast to evening food. Share your plans and we’ll suggest a menu.
How long do you serve for?
That depends on your event and menu. Timings are agreed in advance so everything fits your schedule.
Do you do a wedding bar?
Yes, our Mexican drinks bar serves margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas. We’ll go through the licensing with you and your venue.
Can you keep it mild?
That is your choice: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side. Read more about how spicy Mexican food is.
Do you provide allergen information for each dish?
We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, and give allergen information for every dish. We plan carefully and keep options separate, though we can’t promise a dish is allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.
Space, access and the venue
Every venue is different, so we ask about the space when you get in touch. In general, we need:
- Access wide and high enough to drive in, with gates and soft lawns checked first
- Power and water, which we confirm with you for each booking
- The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a catering vehicle
Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we’ll tell you honestly.
On the menu in Egypt

Why choose wedding Mexican catering in Egypt?
If you’re weighing up a taco bar against a traditional menu, consider the venue, the diets and the style you want. Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.
Why us?
- Allergen information for everything we serve
- A menu agreed with you
- A clear quote
- A truck or trailer that comes to you
DIY taco night or a caterer?
Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.
If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.
Planning for every diet
Every guest is catered for, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan included. To make it work smoothly:
- Connect us with your coordinator
- Send us the running order and speech times
- Let us know about severe allergies in writing
- Add a dietary question to your RSVP cards
For a taco bar, fillings, salsas and toppings go out on a serving table, and guests come up table by table if you like.
Ask us about plates, cutlery and serving staff, and we will set it out in the quote.
