Wedding Mexican catering for your wedding in Horam

We plan the wedding menu with you, perhaps with fillings such as carnitas, chicken tinga or birria, plus vegan options like spiced mushrooms or black beans. At vow renewals and blessings and day-after celebrations, we’ll put together a menu of quesadillas, loaded nachos and fresh guacamole and salsas and more.

There’s something special about a country wedding near Horam, and tacos served from a truck in a field add to it. Plan access, ground and cover in case of rain. We will check the space, access and power with you before the day, so set-up goes smoothly.

FAQs for Horam

Can you cater a reception after a service at Christ Church?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Can you bring a truck or trailer to venues in the High Weald National Landscape?

We do, where the venue allows a catering vehicle. Lanes can be narrow and ground soft, so tell us how we’d get in.

Do you cater for suppliers?

Yes. Include suppliers in your numbers and we will plan for them.

Can you come to a private house?

Yes, if the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Send us a picture of the access and the space.

Do you work with our venue?

Yes, and it saves you passing messages. Put us in touch and we’ll agree the details.

Is the food made fresh?

We cook to order in our food truck or trailer kitchen, or serve from a taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.

How much space do you need?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, and the venue’s agreement. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.

Can we add margaritas?

Our drinks bar can be added. We’ll go through the licensing with you and your venue.

Should I do it myself?

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone has to serve all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it is more work than it looks. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.

Step by step

Service is quick and friendly: we serve from the hatch or a serving station, so even a long queue moves. Afterwards we clear our area. In Horam, midsummer sunset is about 9:15pm, and by late September it is nearer 7:00pm, so evening tacos are usually served in daylight in high summer. For autumn and winter weddings, when it’s dark by about 3:55pm in December, plan lighting around the truck or trailer.

  1. Tell us the date, the venue, day and evening numbers and your plans.
  2. Together we choose a taco bar, evening food or both, and we send a quote.
  3. We agree access, timings, power and water with you and your venue.
  4. On the day we set up and serve when your running order says.
  5. We pack down after service and leave our area tidy.

Getting ready for the day

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • What the venue already provides
  • Serving staff
  • The number of people
  • Travel, parking and access

Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so it helps to tell us about your venue. The full price is confirmed in your quote.

  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • The address or venue name

  • Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer
  • Power and water, which we confirm with you for each booking
