Your questions about wedding Mexican catering in Spanish Green

Which station is closest to Spanish Green?

Bramley (Hants) station, about 2.3 miles west of the centre.

We’re having a ceremony at Church of St Mary the Blessed Virgin: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

What if the timings change?

We plan for it. Food is served to order, so we can start when you are ready, even if that moves.

Can you handle dietary needs at our wedding?

Yes. There are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests, plus allergen information for every dish.

How is the food prepared?

Food is cooked to order in our food truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.

What areas do you cover?

London and the South East: Greater London, Kent and Medway, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, including Spanish Green.

Can you do gluten-free food?

Yes, we offer gluten-free options, using corn tortillas. Let us know about coeliac guests in advance so we can talk through how their food is prepared. See are corn tortillas gluten-free?

What access do you need?

Access and level ground matter most: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. If in doubt, send us a picture of the space and the way in.

For planners, venues and organisers

If you are booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll explain how it works. We are happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.

If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We will provide the information the landowner or council asks for from us.

How it compares

A buffet can leave food sitting out. Tacos go straight from the hatch to the plate. Larger events can cost less per head, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Tell us your numbers for an accurate price.

What you get with us

  • A menu agreed with you
  • Fast service, even with a queue
  • Everything served fresh from the hatch
  • Menus for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan guests

Read our pricing or our guide to catering costs.

Diets, allergies and planning

Most events have a mix of diets. To plan for them:

  • Share your running order, including speeches
  • Put us in touch with your venue
  • Plan a covered area for eating in case of rain
  • Count day and evening guests separately

If speeches or photos run over, tell us, and we will adjust when we serve.

Loaded nachos make easy evening food.

Before you choose a spot

We’ll be honest if a space will not work, and suggest an alternative. The main points are:

  • A spot away from buildings, windows and neighbours
  • Permission from the venue or landowner
  • Room for a queue in front of the serving hatch

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we will tell you honestly.

Step by step

When service finishes, we pack down and clear our own area. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. At midsummer, sunset in Spanish Green is about 9:25pm, so we can time the evening food around your photos. Sunset is around 8:55pm in late May and 7:10pm in late September.

  1. Tell us your date, venue and numbers.
  2. Together we plan the food for your day.

Prices and what affects them

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • Food, drinks or both
  • Staff for serving and the bar
  • Distance and access to the venue

There is no one-size-fits-all price for wedding Mexican catering. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Your quote sets it all out.
