Comparing your options

Bring-your-own is simple but uneven. A staffed bar means everyone is served. Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Your quote sets it all out.

Mexican bar hire in Spanish Green, from our truck or trailer

Serving alcohol at events needs a licence: a premises licence at the venue, or a Temporary Event Notice. We’ll talk licensing through with you. At winter celebrations and wedding receptions and evening parties, we can serve margaritas, aguas frescas and soft drinks and more.

Near Spanish Green, a drinks bar suits gardens, barns and marquees, as long as we can get in. We’ll go through the licensing with you. Timings are planned around your event, so service starts when you want it.

FAQs for Spanish Green

Which station is closest to Spanish Green?

Bramley (Hants) station, about 2.3 miles west of the centre.

We’re having a ceremony at Church of St Mary the Blessed Virgin: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. We’d serve at the reception venue rather than at the church itself. Tell us where the reception will be.

What do you need at the venue?

Access and level ground matter most: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. If in doubt, send us a photo of the space and the way in.

How much is the bar?

We don’t publish set prices, because every event is different. Tell us your plans for a quote.

Is there something for non-drinkers?

Yes. Aguas frescas such as agua de jamaica and horchata are alcohol-free.

Can we book the bar without food?

Yes. Book the bar on its own, or with our Mexican catering.

Can you do gluten-free food?

Yes, gluten-free options are available, made with corn tortillas. Let us know about coeliac guests in advance so we can talk through how their food is prepared. See are corn tortillas gluten-free?

How many guests can you serve?

That depends on the menu and the service time, but around 50 to 400 guests is the usual range. For anything outside that, ask us.

Working with your venue

Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we’ll keep everyone informed on the day.

For big numbers, we plan service to keep queues short, so everyone is served promptly. Let us know how long the break is.

What happens on the day

When we arrive, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. Service starts at the time we have agreed, planned around your event. A summer drinks reception in Spanish Green has daylight until about 9:25pm at midsummer, ideal for drinks outdoors. In late September it’s dark around 7:10pm, and in December by about 4:00pm, so evening bars need lighting.

  1. Send us the date, venue and numbers.
  2. We talk licensing through with you.
  3. You choose the drinks with us.
  4. Our bar staff serve your guests at the agreed times.
  5. We pack down when the bar closes.
