Wedding Mexican catering for Viables events

Wedding Mexican catering in Viables, from our food truck or trailer

We time service around your day: after the drinks reception, between the speeches or once evening guests arrive. We go over timings with your venue beforehand. At receptions after a small ceremony and evening wedding food, we can serve tacos, loaded nachos and a taco bar for the wedding breakfast.

Weddings in a place like Viables often feel personal: a local church, then a marquee in a garden or field. A food truck by the marquee suits that kind of day. Tell us about access to the field or garden. We cater for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan guests, with allergen information for everything we serve.

Your questions about wedding Mexican catering in Viables

We are having a ceremony at Church of All Saints: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.

Can you bring your truck or trailer to Hackwood Park?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we will send what they need from us.

Is a taco bar smart enough for a wedding?

It can be as relaxed or as polished as you like, depending on the presentation and the venue.

Is the food made fresh?

We slow-cook fillings ahead, then finish them and keep them hot at your event. Tortillas are warmed on site, and salsas and guacamole are made fresh.

How much is a food truck for an event?

The price depends on numbers, menu, service time and where your event is. Send us the details for a quote.

What if the weather’s bad?

We can serve from the hatch in the rain. It is worth planning a covered area for guests, and let us know if the ground gets soft after heavy rain.

What if our speeches run late?

We plan for it. Service starts when your running order says, even if that moves.

What areas do you cover?

London and the South East: Greater London, Kent and Medway, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, including Viables.

Comparing your options

A plated wedding breakfast needs a kitchen and a larger team. Our truck or trailer brings its own kitchen, and the style is more relaxed. Extras, such as more dishes, extra drinks or a longer service, are quoted on request, so you choose what goes in.

Why us?

Dietary needs and planning tips

Every guest is catered for, vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free included. To get it right:

  • Let us know about supplier meals
  • Count day and evening guests separately
  • Check your date with us early
  • Have cover for guests if the weather turns

We park where the venue agrees, ideally where guests can see us, which makes a good photo.

Tell us if you need plates, cutlery or staff, and we’ll set it out in the quote.

Where the truck can go in Viables

We will be honest if a space won’t work. What matters most:

  • Details of power and water on site, agreed when you book
  • A place for the truck or trailer near where guests are eating
  • The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a catering vehicle

If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think.

The process

A typical event goes like this: we arrive and set up, we open the hatch when you are ready, and we serve your guests fresh for the agreed time. Golden-hour photos in Viables at midsummer come around 9:25pm, which helps us time evening food around your photos. Sunset is around 8:55pm in late May and 7:10pm in late September.

  1. We start by checking your date.
  2. You pick the menu with us.
  3. We confirm access and the serving spot with your coordinator.
  4. Food is served from the taco bar or the hatch.
  5. We serve, then pack down.

Our caterer checklist

Prices and what affects them

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • Travel, parking and access
  • Food, drinks or both
  • How many staff you need
  • Timings and hours

Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, because it needs no venue kitchen. Ask us for a quote.

Getting an accurate quote

To speed things up, tell us:

  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • Your date and when you want service to start
  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children

Every event is quoted individually, based on what you need. To ask for one, tell us about it on our contact page.
