Book food truck hire in Bray

Food truck hire in Bray, from our truck or trailer

When you hire our food truck, it serves your guests and nobody else. It’s a private booking, not public trading, so we plan the menu and service times around you. For leaving parties and staff appreciation days, we can serve vegan tacos, loaded nachos and burritos.

In a hamlet or village like Bray, our food truck or trailer can serve a private party or a team day in a field or garden. Guests queue at the hatch, so have some cover ready in case of rain. We cater for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests, with allergen information for everything we serve.

Bray questions

Can you cater a reception after a service at St Michael's Church?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.

Could we book your food truck for a private event in Bray?

Yes, depending on the date. For a private or work event in a village or hamlet, the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

When do you arrive?

That depends on your event and menu. We agree arrival, service and pack-down times with you so everything fits your schedule.

Do you cater for vegetarian guests?

Of course. Vegetarian and vegan fillings, such as spiced mushrooms or black beans, can be part of the menu.

Do you need electricity?

It depends on the event and the set-up, so we confirm power and water arrangements with each booking. Tell us what’s available at your venue.

Can we hire the truck for our wedding?

A food truck suits a relaxed wedding well. We’ll check access and timings with your venue.

What does it cost to hire the truck?

We quote for every hire, based on guest numbers, the menu, the location and service times. For a price, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

What space does the truck need?

Tell us where you’d like the truck, and we’ll check the access. There’s more in our space and power guide.

Planning for every diet

Nearly every event has some special diets. To plan for them:

  • Check gate widths and any height limits
  • Tell us how many children are coming
  • Agree service times with us
  • Guests with serious allergies should contact us first

Wet weather doesn’t close the hatch, though a marquee or gazebo helps guests stay dry.

Quesadillas make an easy option for children.

Events we cater in Bray

Diets are simple to plan for, since gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan choices come from the same hatch.

Almost any gathering can work with a truck or trailer. In Bray, you could book us for occasions like:

  • Private parties in fields and grounds
  • Birthday parties
  • Staff appreciation days
  • End-of-year parties

A food truck in Braywick Park would need the park owner’s agreement, so check that first.

Questions to ask before you book

  • What the caterer needs from your venue
  • The deadline for final numbers
  • When payment is due
  • How dietary needs and allergies are handled

Questions to ask before booking

DIY taco night versus a caterer

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label dishes for guests with allergies.

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone has to serve all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

Food truck hire or something else?

Hiring a food truck is different from finding one at a festival. At public events, anyone can buy; when you hire us, we serve only your guests, on your timings. Pricing depends on the event. A simple party menu and a full wedding day are very different jobs. Contact us for a quote.

Why book with us

  • A menu built around your guests
  • Set-up planned with you and your venue
  • Allergen information for everything we serve
  • Quoted for your event

What’s on the menu

Loaded nachos

Crisp chips loaded with toppings, salsa and guacamole.

Tacos from the hatch

Tacos are quick to serve and easy to eat standing up, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests.

How it works

Expect a friendly, organised team. Arrival and serving times are agreed beforehand, set up our truck or trailer, and serve without fuss. At midsummer, it stays light in Bray until about 9:25pm, while late September brings sunset forward to around 7:05pm. In December it is dark by about 3:55pm, so the queue by the hatch needs lighting.

  1. Tell us what the event is and who’s coming.
  2. Together we plan dishes that cover your guests’ diets.
  3. Power, water and timings are agreed with you or the venue.
  4. The truck serves at the agreed times.
  5. When everyone is fed, we clear our area.

Getting ready for the day

  • Measure any gates or arches on the way in
  • Give us your final numbers and diets
  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site

Planning the serving area

If a space is not suitable, we’ll tell you. The main points are:

  • Somewhere for guests to sit or stand and eat
  • A flat parking spot on firm ground or hardstanding
  • Gate widths, overhead branches and soft ground checked in advance

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise before booking.
