Taco bar hire, served fresh at your event

A taco bar turns the meal into something guests do together. Warm corn and flour tortillas, two to four fillings, salsas, guacamole, pickled onions and fresh toppings are laid out on a serving station, and everyone builds tacos the way they like them.

It works well for wedding breakfasts, parties and office lunches, and it handles mixed diets easily because vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options sit side by side, clearly labelled. The station can go beside our truck or trailer, or somewhere the truck can’t reach, as long as we can unload nearby.

Perfect for

  • Wedding breakfasts
  • Garden and birthday parties
  • Office lunches and team days
  • Christenings and family gatherings

How it works

  1. You tell us the date, venue, guest numbers and any dietary needs.
  2. We suggest fillings, salsas and toppings and send a quote.
  3. We agree where the taco bar goes and where we can unload.
  4. On the day we set up the station and keep it topped up while guests help themselves.
  5. We clear the station and pack down when service ends.

Where the taco bar goes

A taco bar needs a level, sheltered spot for the serving station and space for guests to queue on both sides if numbers are large. Tell us about the venue and we’ll suggest the layout.

Keeping diets separate

Vegan and gluten-free options get their own clearly labelled dishes and serving spoons, and every dish comes with allergen information. Read our taco bar guide for planning tips.

What it costs

We quote every event individually. Contact us for a quote. As a guide, published prices from other Mexican street-food caterers ranged from about £11 to £45 per head at the time of writing, often with a minimum spend or a minimum number of guests. Our cost guide lists named examples with links, and explains what changes the price.
