Food truck hire for Cole Henley events

Food truck hire in Cole Henley, from our truck or trailer

The truck or trailer is a working kitchen on wheels, so your venue does not need a kitchen. What we do need is level ground, a way in and the venue’s agreement. On the menu are loaded nachos, quesadillas and tacos from the hatch, and it’s a good fit for birthday parties and end-of-year parties.

For a rural spot like Cole Henley, food truck hire needs a little planning: the gate, the ground and the distance from the lane. Power and water may be limited, so we confirm the arrangements before the day. We turn up ready to serve, and tidy our own area afterwards.

Catering for every guest

A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Try these:

  • Look into parking permissions if the truck cannot go off-road
  • Guests with serious allergies should contact us first
  • Walk the access route and note narrow gaps
  • Let us know who is coeliac

We drive in at the agreed time and park in the planned spot. Someone on site to meet us makes it smoother.

Our Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can join the truck.

Where the truck can go in Cole Henley

We will agree the spot with you before the day. It needs to meet a few simple requirements:

  • Agreement from the venue to bring in a catering vehicle
  • Enough width and height on the route in
  • A spot away from neighbours

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise before you book.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Contact us for a quote to compare.

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

Is food truck hire right for your event?

Hiring a food truck is different from finding one at a festival. At a festival we trade to the public; when you hire us, we serve only your guests, on your timings. Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. Your quote confirms the full price.

Why us?

  • Allergen-aware menus
  • Every guest catered for, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan included
  • Book food, drinks or both
  • Service planned around your numbers

Working with your venue

Hosting a party at home? Send us a picture of the space and tell us about the drive and gates, and we will let you know if it is a good fit.

If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can plan ahead.

How it works

We get there well before you want to serve, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. At midsummer, it stays light in Cole Henley until about 9:25pm, while late September brings sunset forward to around 7:10pm. For winter events, dark by about 4:00pm, plan lighting where guests queue at the hatch.

  1. Tell us what the event is and who’s coming.
  2. We suggest fillings and dishes for every diet.
  3. We check power, water and timings with the venue.
  4. Service runs at the times you choose.
  5. When everyone is fed, we clear our area.

How to prepare

  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park
