Ascot is about 4 miles east of Bracknell, in Windsor and Maidenhead. We bring Mexican bar hire to gardens, halls and venues around Ascot and the surrounding area. Ascot is one of 57 places in Windsor and Maidenhead we cover. Our nearest city page is Guildford, about 12 miles away.
A gathering in Silwood Park? Check the park’s rules first, as alcohol and vehicles normally need permission. Close to Ascot are historic houses such as St Leonard's Hill (4.1 miles north). Many listed venues control who serves drinks on their premises, so ask yours what it allows.
Wherever your event is in SL5, we can bring the truck or trailer to your guests. Your event could be at a home on London Road, High Street and St George's Lane or the roads around them. For events just outside Ascot, we cover Sunninghill (1 mile south-east), Cheapside (1 mile north-east), North Ascot (1 mile north-west), Brookside (1 mile north-west) and Beggar's Bush (1 mile east). Mexican bar hire for your event in Ascot
Mexican beer is served cold, with a wedge of lime if guests like, and it pairs well with tacos. For wedding drinks receptions and fairs and community events, we can serve margaritas, aguas frescas and agua de jamaica for your guests.
In a rural spot like Ascot, drinks can be served from our food truck or trailer in a garden, field or by a marquee, given access. Licensing for alcohol is checked with you beforehand. Food and drinks can be booked together or separately, so one caterer can cover more of the day.

What affects the price in Ascot
Your quote will be clear. The main things that affect it are:
- The number of people
- Food, drinks or both
- Whether you need disposables
- Serving staff
Larger events can cost less per head, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Give us your numbers and we’ll quote.
What to tell us
The more we know about your event, the better we can plan. Please include:
- A picture of the space, if it is a garden or field
- Whether you’d like food, drinks or both
- Where the event is
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
A detailed enquiry gets a more accurate quote: venue, timings, menu ideas and access. When you are ready, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

How the day works
A typical event goes like this: we park up and get ready, service opens at the agreed time, and your guests are served fresh for the agreed time. By late September, sunset in Ascot comes at roughly 7:05pm, so margaritas after that will be served under lights. In late May, it stays light until about 8:55pm.
- Tell us your date, venue and numbers.
- We talk through licensing with you.
- You choose the drinks with us.
- Our bar staff serve your guests at the agreed times.
- We clear the bar at the end.

Before you choose a spot
Everything is served from our food truck or trailer, so where we park matters. Here’s what we look for:
- Firm, level ground where we can set up
- A premises licence or a Temporary Event Notice in place
- A spot away from neighbours’ windows if the bar runs late
Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we’ll tell you honestly.

Ascot: your questions answered
What’s the nearest station to Ascot for guests?
Guests can use Ascot station, which is right in Ascot.
We are having a ceremony at Church of All Souls: can you cater afterwards?
Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.
Is the food made fresh?
Food is cooked to order in our truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Fillings are slow-cooked beforehand and finished on site.
How long are you on site?
That depends on your event and menu. Timings are agreed in advance to suit your day.
Do you have vegan options?
Yes, and we plan them in from the start. Tell us your numbers when you ask for a quote.
What drinks do you serve?
Our bar serves margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas such as agua de jamaica and horchata.
What do you need at the venue?
The main things are access and a level spot: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. Send us a picture and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.
Do you provide bar staff?
Our bar staff run the bar. Responsible serving comes first.
Planners, venues and businesses
Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we’ll keep you updated on timings and set-up.
Booking for a company? Tell us what your finance team needs, and we will explain how it works. We can work with your facilities team on access and timings.
DIY taco night or a caterer?
A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it’s more work than it looks. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.
Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Contact us for a quote to compare.
Why choose Mexican bar hire in Ascot?
Bring-your-own is simple but uneven. A staffed bar means everyone is served. There is no one-size-fits-all price for Mexican bar hire. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Your quote sets it all out.
