Mexican bar hire for Sandford events

Before you choose a spot

Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but a few things matter:

  • The venue’s permission for an outside bar
  • Firm, level ground where we can set up
  • The right licence for alcohol: the venue’s licence or a Temporary Event Notice

Out-of-the-way places like Sandford take a little more planning, so let us know about tracks, gates and power in good time.

If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think before you book.

Mexican bar hire for your event in Sandford

Our bar staff serve responsibly: no alcohol for under-18s, and plenty of alcohol-free choices. For end-of-year parties and anniversaries and engagements, we can serve horchata, alcohol-free drinks and agua de jamaica for your guests.

In a rural spot like Sandford, drinks can be served from our truck or trailer in a garden, field or by a marquee, as long as we can get in. We will check the licensing with you. We serve from the hatch of our food truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan the service around your numbers.

Drinks planning tips

Some planning tips for the drinks:

  • Check allergies with guests, including for drinks
  • Plan any Temporary Event Notice well ahead
  • Include aguas frescas for non-drinkers
  • Agree bar timings in advance

After service, we clear the bar away.

Pair the bar with tacos, burritos and nachos.

Can I do a taco night myself?

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone has to serve all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

Common questions in Sandford

Do you come out to small places like Sandford?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

Can you cater a reception after a service at All Saints' Church?

Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. We’d serve at the reception venue rather than at the church itself. Send us the reception address.

Can you plan for allergies?

We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, and give allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we can’t promise anything is completely allergen-free. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the event.

Who handles the licensing?

That depends on your venue. If the venue has no licence, a Temporary Event Notice may be needed. We will check the licensing with you.

Do you take everything away?

We pack down and leave our area tidy. Let us know the venue’s rules on waste and we’ll confirm the arrangements with your quote.

Which areas do you serve?

We cater across London and the South East, including the Isle of Wight. See all areas.

Do you have dairy-free options?

Yes, on request. Tell us how many guests need dairy-free food, and we’ll include them in the plan.

How much does Mexican bar hire cost in Sandford?

It depends on guest numbers, the menu, the length of service and the location. Send us the details for a quote.

How the day works

Service is quick and friendly: guests are served at the hatch or a serving station, so a crowd is looked after quickly. When service ends, we pack down. A late-September party in Sandford loses the light at about 7:10pm, so a bar running later in the evening needs lamps or festoons. A late-May event keeps its daylight until about 8:55pm.

  1. Send us the date, venue and numbers.
  2. We check the licensing with you.
  3. You choose the drinks with us.
  4. We serve drinks responsibly on the day.
  5. We clear the bar at the end.

Preparing for the day

Planning help

Prices and what affects them

Your quote will be clear. The main things that affect it are:

  • Guest numbers
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
  • What’s on the menu
  • What the venue already provides

There’s no one-size-fits-all price for Mexican bar hire. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Your quote sets it all out.

Getting an accurate quote

Here’s what makes a quick, accurate quote possible:

  • What power and water the site has
  • The date and time of the event
  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground
  • Diets and allergies you know about

The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote: the venue, the timings, food or drinks or both, and the access. To send your details, tell us about it on our contact page.
