Mexican bar hire in Victoria

Mexican bar hire for your event in Victoria

Margaritas are the centrepiece: tequila, lime and orange liqueur over ice, with or without a salted rim. It works well for themed celebrations and end-of-year and Christmas parties, serving horchata, soft drinks and agua de jamaica.

In Victoria, a drinks bar suits courtyard receptions, office parties and evening events. As with any London event, parking and loading need planning, and all of Greater London is inside the ULEZ. We will talk licensing through with you and your venue. You can book food, drinks or both, so one caterer can cover more of the day.

Events we cater in Victoria

It works on its own or with our food.

We cater all kinds of occasions in Victoria and nearby. Some of the most common are:

  • Weddings, day or evening
  • Fairs and community events
  • End-of-year and Christmas parties
  • Engagement celebrations

Serving alcohol in Green Park would need the owner’s permission and probably a licence, so a garden or venue is often simpler.

What to look for in a quote

  • The wet-weather plan
  • The caterer’s food hygiene rating
  • The venue requirements
  • VAT, if it applies

Questions to ask before booking

Organising for someone else?

If you’re organising for someone else, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we will work directly with you and the venue. It keeps things simple.

If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can plan ahead.

Prices and what affects them

Your quote will be clear. The main things that affect it are:

  • The number of people
  • What’s on the menu
  • Timings and hours
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food

Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so tell us what you have in mind. Tell us your budget and we will suggest a menu.

Getting an accurate quote

We can quote more accurately with a few details. Here’s what’s useful:

  • Your date and when you want service to start
  • A picture of where we’d park
  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • Expected numbers

We quote for each event separately, based on what you need. For a quote, fill in our quote form.

Planning the bar

To get the most from the bar, it helps to:

  • Tell us when the bar should open and close
  • Plan any Temporary Event Notice well ahead
  • Plan water alongside the bar
  • Ask your venue about its licence early

If timings change, tell us and we will adjust.

Margaritas for the drinks reception.

The process

The truck or trailer needs a level, firm spot with access to drive in, with power and water arrangements agreed beforehand. A picture of the space helps. By late September, sunset in Victoria comes at roughly 7:05pm, so a bar running later in the evening needs lamps or festoons. A late-May event keeps its daylight until about 8:50pm.

  1. You tell us the date, venue, guest numbers and the drinks you have in mind.
  2. Together we check how alcohol will be licensed at your event.
  3. You get a suggested drinks menu and a quote.
  4. On the day we set up the bar and our bar staff serve your guests.
  5. When the bar closes, we pack down and clear our area.

Before we arrive

  • Arrange somewhere covered for guests to eat
  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
  • Give us a contact for the day

How to get a price

Each quote is tailored to your event. Give us your date and numbers, and we’ll check availability at the same time.

The food can be kept mild, with hotter salsas on the side for anyone who wants more heat.

Yes. Aguas frescas and soft drinks are alcohol-free, along with soft drinks.

Space, access and the venue

Before the day, we’ll agree where we park and serve. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • Access to unload close to the bar spot
  • Firm, level ground where we can set up
  • Some distance from houses and neighbours

Victoria is in London, inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, which covers all of Greater London, and parking can be tight: let us know about permits, bays, off-street space or a parking suspension.

If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think before you book.
