Taco bar hire in Bicester, from our food truck or trailer

Add burrito bowls, loaded nachos or quesadillas if you’d like more choice. Our drinks bar can be booked with it too, with licensing checked with you. At anniversary parties and family get-togethers, we will put together a menu of warm corn and flour tortillas, fresh salsas and burrito bowls for your guests.

Not every garden in Bicester can be reached by a vehicle, so we can park nearby, with permission, and set the taco bar up in the garden. Let us know the route from where we’d park. Access, space and power are agreed with you beforehand, so there are no surprises on arrival.

What happens on the day

The truck or trailer tends to draw a crowd, so we will help you choose a spot with room for a queue. We can serve in the rain, but guests will need somewhere covered. Daylight in Bicester runs to about 9:00pm in late May and 7:10pm in late September. Let us know if an outdoor station will run after dark, and we’ll talk about lighting.

  1. Send us your date, where the taco bar will go, numbers and dietary needs.
  2. We plan the fillings and toppings with you and quote for them.
  3. Before the day, we confirm the serving spot, unloading, power and water with the venue.
  4. Our staff set up the station, keep the fillings hot and top up the bar through service.
  5. Once guests have eaten, we take down the bar and leave the spot tidy.

Before we arrive

  • Let us know who to talk to on the day
  • Give us your final numbers and diets
  • Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready

Planning for every diet

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. We suggest:

  • Tell us how many children are coming
  • Check where our vehicle can unload
  • Have anyone with a severe allergy speak to us first
  • Tell us when guests should eat

A covered spot keeps the bar and guests dry if it rains, so plan somewhere sheltered if you can.

Our drinks bar can sit alongside the taco bar for margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

Common questions in Bicester

How far is Bicester from London?

Roughly 53 miles from the centre of London, and well within our area.

We’re having a ceremony at Church of St Edburg: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. We’d serve at the reception venue rather than at the church itself. Send us the reception address.

How soon do we need to book?

As early as you can, especially for summer weekends. Even if it’s short notice, it is worth asking.

How long do you serve for?

It depends on your event. Timings are agreed in advance to suit your day.

Who clears up?

We clear our own area when service is finished. Ask us if you’d like help with anything else.

Do you cover Bicester?

Yes. We cover London and the South East, and Bicester is within our area and the rest of Oxfordshire. To check your date, fill in our quote form.

What if a vehicle cannot reach the serving spot?

It can go beside the truck or trailer, or somewhere a vehicle cannot reach. We need a nearby place to unload, plus the venue’s agreement.

Do you need electricity?

That depends on the set-up, and we agree power and water with you before the day. Tell us what’s available at your venue.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: see how many tacos per person. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label anything containing allergens.

A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, with allergen information for every dish.

About the menu

Toppings

The toppings are where guests make each taco their own, and dairy-free choices are kept apart.

Vegan fillings

Spiced mushroom, or black bean and sweet potato, cooked separately.

How we price taco bar hire

Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, depending on:

  • Guest numbers
  • The length of service
  • Whether you need disposables
  • Food, drinks or both

Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, as there is no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.

What we need to know

These details help us quote quickly:

  • Your menu ideas
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • The venue or postcode
