Taco bar hire for Boughton Green events

Taco bar hire in Boughton Green, served fresh

The taco bar works for a wedding breakfast, a party or a working lunch. Guests build their plates quickly, so a crowd moves through steadily. For family get-togethers and team lunches, we’ll put together a menu of pickled onions and toppings, guacamole and warm corn and flour tortillas.

In a small place like Boughton Green, a taco bar might go in a garden, a barn or a nearby hall. If lanes or soft ground stop the truck getting close, the station can be set up nearer your guests, as long as we can unload within a short walk. You’ll know what’s included before booking: menu, timings and any add-ons.

Boughton Green questions

How far is Boughton Green from central London?

About 33 miles from central London, and well within our area.

Do you set up taco bars indoors in places like Boughton Green?

We can, as long as the venue agrees. The station needs room for a queue, and we need to park and unload close to the door.

Can the taco bar cater for special diets?

Keeping each dish separate makes mixed diets easier, but we can’t promise an allergen-free kitchen. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us first.

How does a taco bar work?

Each guest builds tacos from the fillings, salsas and toppings laid out. Our staff look after the bar throughout.

Is a taco bar right for a wedding?

The taco bar can be the wedding breakfast, the evening food or both. We agree the timings with your venue.

Do you cater in Boughton Green?

Yes. We cater across London and the South East, and Boughton Green is within our area. For a quote, send a quick message through our quote form.

Can you keep it mild?

The food can be kept mild, and hotter salsas go on the side for guests who like heat.

Is the food made fresh?

Fillings are slow-cooked in advance, then finished and kept hot on site. Tortillas are warmed on site, and salsas and guacamole are made fresh.

Space, access and the venue

Every venue is different, so we’ll ask about yours when you contact us. Generally, we look for:

  • Space for a line of guests at the bar
  • Cover overhead if the bar is outdoors
  • A short, clear path for carrying the bar in

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise.

What we offer

  • Corn and flour tortillas
  • Two to four fillings
  • Vegan fillings
  • Pickled onions and toppings
  • Tortilla chips
  • Salsas and guacamole

DIY taco night or a caterer?

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, with allergen information for every dish.

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

Diets, allergies and planning

A Mexican menu is easy to plan for mixed diets, because guests can choose what suits them. A few tips:

  • Choose at least one vegan filling
  • Have tables and seats ready for guests to eat at
  • Fit the bar into your running order
  • Check where our vehicle can unload

Fillings are kept hot and tortillas warmed in batches, so the bar stays fresh from the first plate to the last.

Ask us about plates, napkins and cutlery and we’ll confirm what’s possible in your quote.

How it works

On the day, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. Service starts at the time we have agreed, so everything runs to your schedule. Evenings in Boughton Green stay light until about 9:15pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:00pm. After dusk, lights over the station help guests build their tacos.

  1. Tell us the date, the venue, how many guests and any diets.
  2. We plan the fillings and toppings with you and quote for them.
  3. Together we fix the spot for the taco bar and a nearby place for our vehicle.
  4. Our staff set up the station, keep the fillings hot and top up the bar through service.
  5. When service finishes, we clear the table and pack the vehicle.

Before we arrive

  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
  • Share the running order, including any speeches
