Taco bar hire for Foley Park events

Taco bar hire for your event in Foley Park

For a bigger spread, burrito bowls, nachos or quesadillas can sit alongside the tacos. Margaritas and aguas frescas from our drinks bar can be added. It works well for leaving dos and family get-togethers, serving burrito bowls, slow-cooked fillings kept hot and pickled onions and toppings.

Around Foley Park, a taco bar can stand beside our truck on a drive or lawn. Where access is tight, the truck stays nearby and the station goes where your guests are, as long as we can unload within a short walk. We cater for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan guests, and we give allergen information for every dish.

Choosing a Mexican caterer

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it’s more work than it looks. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Read our guide to taco bars.

What’s on the menu

Toppings

The toppings are where guests make each taco their own.

Guacamole

No taco bar is complete without guacamole, so we keep it topped up.

Common questions in Foley Park

Do you cater in the Kent Downs National Landscape?

Yes, though some venues in protected landscapes have extra rules; ask your venue. We will follow the site rules.

Is it possible to have you in Vinters Valley Park?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we will send what they need from us.

What is a build-your-own taco bar?

A serving table is laid with warm tortillas, hot fillings, salsas and toppings, and guests build their own tacos. Our staff keep it hot and topped up.

Can you cater in a back garden?

Yes, if the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Tell us about the drive, gates and any slopes, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it works.

What if the weather’s bad?

We can keep serving from the truck or trailer in the rain, but your guests will want somewhere covered, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.

Which areas do you serve?

London and the South East: Greater London, Kent and Medway, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

Ask us when you enquire. Let us know what you already have, and we will set out plates, napkins and cutlery in your quote.

How long are you on site?

We get there well before service to set up. Serving times are agreed with you in advance, along with pack-down.

How it works

When we arrive, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. We’re ready to serve at the agreed time, so everything runs to your schedule. Planning an evening taco bar in Foley Park? Sunset is around 8:50pm in late May, 9:15pm at midsummer and 7:00pm in late September. After dusk, lights over the station help guests build their tacos.

  1. Tell us the date, the venue, how many guests and any diets.
  2. We plan the fillings and toppings with you and quote for them.
  3. Together we fix the spot for the taco bar and a nearby place for our vehicle.
  4. We set out warm tortillas, hot fillings, salsas and toppings, and guests help themselves.
  5. Once guests have eaten, we take down the bar and leave the spot tidy.

How to prepare

  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
  • Find out what power and water are available
  • Arrange somewhere covered for guests to eat

A build-your-own taco bar in Foley Park

Foley Park is about 1 mile north of Maidstone, in Kent. From the centre of Foley Park to the outskirts, taco bar hire works the same way: fresh service from our truck or trailer, every diet planned for and a clear quote. Foley Park is one of 922 towns and villages in Kent we cover.

Before you plan a taco bar in Vinters Valley Park, find out who manages it, as catering and unloading there both need their agreement. If people are travelling in by rail, Maidstone East station is about 0.6 miles away. With the Kent Downs National Landscape about 5 miles away at most, a countryside taco bar is an option from Foley Park. Rural venues may limit vehicles, so ask where we can park and unload.

For taco bar hire in ME14, ME15 and ME16, we plan around your venue and the route in and your guests. Streets in the area include Well Road, Rock Road and Byron Road, and an event on any of them can work if the truck or trailer can park nearby. Planning for every diet

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. Our advice:

  • Set out seating near the bar

  • Check where our vehicle can unload

We arrive with time to unload and set the bar up before guests eat.

Our drinks bar can sit alongside the taco bar for margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

  • Space for a serving table on level ground
  • The venue’s or landowner’s agreement
  • A clear route from the vehicle to the serving spot

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.
