Taco bar hire in Hadlow

Taco bar hire in Hadlow, from our food truck or trailer

A taco bar suits mixed diets well, as fillings and toppings are kept in separate dishes. There are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan choices, with corn tortillas for gluten-free guests. Popular choices include warm corn and flour tortillas, burrito bowls and pickled onions and toppings, which works well for engagement and anniversary parties and back-garden gatherings.

Somewhere as small as Hadlow, a garden, barn or hall can host a taco bar. If lanes or soft ground stop the truck getting close, the station can be set up nearer your guests, as long as we can unload within a short walk. Timings are planned around your event, whether that’s speeches, a lunch break or a festival schedule.

What taco bar hire costs

Your quote will be clear. What affects it most:

  • The number of people
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • The menu you choose
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food

Extra dishes, drinks and longer service are priced on request, so you can choose what you need.

What to tell us

You don’t need everything decided to ask for a quote, but these help:

  • A picture of where we’d park
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
  • Where the event is
  • Whether you’d like food, drinks or both

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, along with any dietary needs, and we’ll reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. Just use our quote form.

The menu, item by item

Warm tortillas

Every taco starts with a warm tortilla. We keep a steady supply going.

Salsas

Fresh salsas, from a mild tomato salsa to something hotter.

Catering for every guest

With a little notice, most diets are easy. We suggest:

  • Tell us about coeliac guests specifically
  • Include a vegan filling on the bar
  • Confirm a loading spot close to the bar
  • Tell us how many children are coming

Each dish is labelled, and allergen information is kept at the bar.

Loaded nachos make a good starter while the bar is set up.

Organising for someone else?

If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We can send what the landowner or council needs from us.

Throwing a party at home? Send a picture of the space and tell us about access, and we’ll let you know if it is a good fit.

Hadlow: your questions answered

How far is Hadlow from central London?

It’s about 26 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Do you come out to small places like Hadlow?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, and we plan them in from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect, and we will keep their options separate.

Does the taco bar need the truck on site?

The taco bar can be served from a table or station away from the truck. We still need somewhere close to unload our vehicle, and the venue has to agree.

Is a taco bar good for vegans and gluten-free guests?

Keeping each dish separate makes mixed diets easier, though we can’t guarantee there are no traces of any allergen. Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.

Is a taco bar suitable for a big group?

Truck and trailer service generally suits around 50 to 400 guests, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Share your headcount and we’ll size the bar to suit.

Do you have dairy-free options?

Yes. Dairy-free options are part of our menus.

Can we have a build-your-own taco bar?

Yes. We can set up a build-your-own taco bar, served from the truck or a serving table, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from.

How the day works

We work to your timings. If speeches run late or the photos take longer, tell us and we will adjust the start of service where we can. Planning an evening taco bar in Hadlow? Sunset is around 8:50pm in late May, 9:20pm at midsummer and 7:00pm in late September. Once it gets dark, guests need to see what they’re adding to their tacos.

  1. Get in touch with your date and headcount.
  2. We plan fillings and toppings around your guests’ diets.
  3. Nearer the date, we confirm timings and the serving spot.
  4. Service starts when your running order says.
  5. We clear our station when service ends.

  • Room for guests to queue along the table
  • Space beside the truck or trailer if you are booking both

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise before you book.

Should I do it myself?

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: see how many tacos per person. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label dishes for guests with allergies.
