About our taco bar hire in Little Marlow

We bring taco bars to events in and around Little Marlow: marquees, barns, gardens, halls and workplaces, wherever there’s room for the table. It suits back-garden gatherings and engagement and anniversary parties, with fresh salsas, warm corn and flour tortillas and pickled onions and toppings.

Somewhere as small as Little Marlow, a garden, barn or hall can host a taco bar. If lanes or soft ground stop the truck getting close, the station can be set up nearer your guests, though we still need to unload within a short walk. We turn up ready to serve, and tidy our own area afterwards.

Little Marlow: venues, access and set-up

Little Marlow is about 2 miles north-east of Marlow, in Buckinghamshire. For an event in Little Marlow, we can serve in gardens, fields, venues, car parks and courtyards with access. We cover all 263 towns and villages in Buckinghamshire, from the larger towns to small villages.

After a christening or wedding at a church such as Church of St John the Baptist, a taco bar at a hall or garden nearby lets guests build their own tacos. Close to Little Marlow are historic houses such as Cliveden (2.9 miles south-east) and Harleyford Manor (3.6 miles south-west). Historic venues often limit where vehicles can go, so ask whether a taco bar station could be set up inside while our truck or trailer parks further off.

Anywhere in SL7, we can bring the truck or trailer to your guests, from busy streets to quiet lanes. Streets in the area include Church Road, Pound Lane and School Lane, and an event on any of them can work if the truck or trailer can park nearby. Neighbouring places where we cater events include Fern (1 mile north-east), Coldmoorholme (1 mile east), Well End (1 mile east), Burroughs Grove (1 mile north-west) and Bourne End (1 mile east). Larger places within reach include High Wycombe (3 miles north), Chesham (10 miles north-east), Amersham (9 miles north-east), Beaconsfield (4 miles north-east), Chalfont St Peter (8 miles east) and Princes Risborough (10 miles north).

Nearby you will also find High Wycombe Castle (3.3 miles north) and Eden (3.2 miles north). Not far away are Taplow Lake and Warren Nature Reserve.

  • Local schools include Great Marlow School (1.1 miles west)
  • Pubs nearby include The Queen's Head pub (within half a mile south-west)

Should I do it myself?

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

Why choose taco bar hire in Little Marlow?

Pizza is a safe choice, but a taco bar lets every guest design their own plate. When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: serving hours, staff, disposables, travel and VAT. Contact us for a quote and we will set out what’s included.

Dietary needs and planning tips

We take diets and allergies seriously. Help us by following these steps:

  • Send us allergy details in writing
  • Ask the venue where we can park to unload
  • Set out seating near the bar
  • Give us separate numbers for children

If speeches or timings run over, we keep the fillings hot and start when you’re ready.

Nachos to share can keep guests going before the bar opens.

Planning the serving area

Access is the first thing to check for a truck or trailer. We need:

  • Space for a line of guests at the bar
  • A sheltered spot if we are serving outside
  • Room for the bar alongside the vehicle, if booked together

If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think.

Menu ideas

  • Pickled onions and toppings
  • Salsas and guacamole
  • Two to four fillings
  • Corn and flour tortillas

Organising for someone else?

If you are organising for someone else, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we are happy to deal with you and the venue directly. It saves passing messages back and forth.

Events in public spaces, like parks, typically need permission. We can send what the landowner or council needs from us.

Questions to ask before you book

Questions from Little Marlow

Do you cater in villages like Little Marlow?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

Do you set up taco bars indoors in places like Little Marlow?

Yes, with the venue’s permission. Tell us about the parking, the doors and the space for the station.

Do you have options for kids?

Yes, children are welcome. Tell us how many and roughly how old, and we will suggest mild options.

Do you take everything away?

We pack down and tidy our own area after service. For anything beyond that, such as guests’ tables, ask us.

What’s on the menu?

Mexican street food: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, with salsas, guacamole and toppings. A drinks bar is available too.

Do you do margaritas?

Yes, we offer a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and soft drinks. Your venue or event may need the right licence for alcohol, so we will go through the licensing with you.

Can the taco bar cater for special diets?

We plan gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan choices, with corn tortillas for gluten-free guests. Allergen information is available for every dish.

How much is a food truck for an event?

We quote for each event, so the price fits what you want. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas and we’ll reply with a quote.

About the menu

Warm tortillas

Soft corn and flour tortillas, kept warm. The corn ones suit gluten-free guests.

Salsas

Fresh salsas, from a mild tomato salsa to something hotter, made for your event.

The process

We need a level, firm spot we can drive the truck or trailer onto, with power and water arrangements agreed beforehand. A photo of the space helps. A December taco bar in Little Marlow will be in the dark from about 3:55pm, so set the station up where the lighting is good. In late June, the light holds until around 9:25pm.

  1. Start with your date, venue and guest numbers.
  2. We plan the fillings, salsas and toppings with you.
  3. We confirm the table spot and where we’ll unload.
  4. On the day, guests help themselves while we keep the bar stocked.
  5. We clear the bar away after service.

How to prepare

  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park
  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
