Taco bar hire in Middleton, served fresh

With a taco bar, everything is laid out in one place: warm tortillas, hot fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings. Each guest takes a plate and fills it their way. At family celebrations and anniversary parties, we will put together a menu of fresh salsas, pickled onions and toppings and burrito bowls and more.

In a smaller place like Middleton, a taco bar in your garden or a local hall keeps things simple. Our staff set up the station and guests build their own tacos. Tell us where we can park and unload. Every guest is catered for, vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free included, with allergen information for everything we serve.

Can I do a taco night myself?

A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it is more work than it looks. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label dishes for guests with allergies.

Diets, allergies and planning

We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests. To get it right:

  • Confirm a loading spot close to the bar
  • Include a dietary question on your invitations
  • Tell us about coeliac guests specifically
  • Count children separately

A covered spot keeps the bar and guests dry if it rains.

Nachos to share can keep guests going before the bar opens.

Working with your venue

If you are booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we will talk you through the process. We are happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.

Wedding planners and venue coordinators are welcome to contact us directly, and we will keep you updated on timings and set-up.

Why choose taco bar hire in Middleton?

Guests on special diets don’t need a separate meal.

If you’re planning any of these, we can help:

  • Wedding breakfasts
  • Engagement parties
  • Team lunches
  • Wedding evening food

Guests leaving a church like Church of All Saints could head to a nearby hall or garden where the taco bar is ready.

Prices and what affects them

These are the factors that matter most:

  • What the venue already provides
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Guest numbers
  • The length of service

Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, as there is no kitchen to hire. Contact us for a quote to compare.

Details that help

These details help us quote quickly:

  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • A picture of where we’d park
  • The date and rough timings
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground

We need only a few details to quote: the date, where the event is, how many guests and any dietary needs. To send them, fill in our quote form.

The process

Your timings come first. If things run behind, tell us and we will adjust the start of service where we can. Around midsummer it stays light in Middleton until about 9:25pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:05pm, so an outdoor taco bar in summer is typically served in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 3:55pm, so guests will need light to see the fillings and toppings.

  1. Start with your date, venue and guest numbers.
  2. We plan the fillings, salsas and toppings with you.
  3. The venue confirms where the bar goes and where we park.
  4. On the day, guests help themselves while we keep the bar stocked.
  5. When everyone has eaten, we pack up.

Before we arrive

  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Find out what power and water are available
  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park

Common questions in Middleton

Can you cater a reception after a service at Church of All Saints?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.

Is it possible to have you in Campbell Park?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we’ll send what they need from us.

Can you serve in the rain?

We can keep serving from the truck or trailer in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat and drink, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.

How much is a taco bar?

We quote for each taco bar, depending on guests, menu, venue and timings. Contact us for a quote.

Can we have a taco bar at our wedding?

A taco bar works well for a relaxed wedding breakfast. Service is timed around speeches and photos. There’s more in our taco bar guide.

Where do you cater?

We cover London and the South East, including Milton Keynes. See all areas.

What about power on site?

That depends on the set-up, and we agree power and water with you before the day. Tell us what’s available at your venue.

Is the taco bar staffed?

We run the station ourselves, so you do not need helpers. When service ends, we clear it away.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
