Taco bar hire in Pizien Well, from our food truck or trailer

Our truck and trailer service usually suits around 50 to 400 guests, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Tell us your numbers and we’ll plan the taco bar around them. Popular choices include guacamole, pickled onions and toppings and burrito bowls, which works well for staff parties and engagement and anniversary parties.

In a small place like Pizien Well, a taco bar might go in a garden, a barn or a nearby hall. If the truck can’t get close, we can set the station up nearer your guests, though we still need to unload within a short walk. We prepare everything fresh for your event and serve it straight from our truck or trailer, so guests get it at its best.

Before you choose a spot

No two venues are the same, so we ask about the space when you contact us. Generally, we look for:

  • Space for a line of guests at the bar
  • A spot next to the truck or trailer when both are booked
  • Somewhere close by for our vehicle to park and unload

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise.

Popular choices

  • Salsas and guacamole
  • Two to four fillings
  • Corn and flour tortillas
  • Pickled onions and toppings
  • Vegan fillings
  • Tortilla chips

What happens on the day

When we arrive, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. Service starts at the time we have agreed, so everything runs to your schedule. Daylight in Pizien Well runs to about 8:50pm in late May and 7:00pm in late September. Let us know if an outdoor station will run after dark, and we will talk about lighting.

  1. Send us the date, venue and numbers.
  2. Together we choose what goes on the bar.
  3. The venue confirms where the bar goes and where we park.
  4. Our staff set out the bar and guests build their own tacos.
  5. When everyone has eaten, we pack up.

Pizien Well: your questions answered

Could you serve our guests after a service at Church of St John the Baptist?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

How far is Pizien Well from central London?

It is about 27 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

What’s on the menu?

Every menu is agreed with you. Fillings could include slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga, beef birria and vegan options such as spiced mushrooms or black beans. Our sample menu has more ideas.

What do you need at the venue?

Tell us about the venue and the spot you have in mind, and we will confirm what’s needed. We also need the venue’s permission.

What areas do you cover?

London and South East England: Greater London, Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire, including Pizien Well.

Can you run a bar?

Yes. The drinks bar can be added to food or booked on its own. For alcohol, we’ll talk licensing through with you and your venue.

How many guests can a taco bar serve?

Our service normally suits around 50 to 400 guests, while smaller parties are looked at case by case. Share your headcount and we’ll size the bar to suit.

How much space do you need?

The main things are access and a level spot: a level spot to park, space for guests to queue and a little room for a serving table. Send us a photo and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.

Catering for every guest

Good planning keeps every guest safe and happy. Here’s how:

  • Put allergies in writing for us
  • Check where our vehicle can unload
  • Include a vegan filling on the bar
  • Tell us when guests should eat

Indoors or under cover, the bar carries on whatever the weather, so plan somewhere sheltered if you can.

Book our drinks bar with the taco bar for margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

Planners, venues and businesses

If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We can send what the landowner or council needs from us.

If you’re planning an event on someone’s behalf, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we are happy to deal with you and the venue directly. It saves passing messages back and forth.

Can I do a taco night myself?

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.
