What affects the price in Ryarsh

Your quote will be clear. The main things that affect it are:

  • Whether you need disposables
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • How long we’re needed on site

Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Your quote sets it all out.

What to tell us

Here’s what makes a quick, accurate quote possible:

  • The date and time of the event
  • What power and water the site has
  • Whether you’d like food, drinks or both
  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground

To get a price, just fill in our quote form. Tell us about your event in Ryarsh, and we will suggest a menu to suit.

Taco bar hire in Ryarsh, served fresh

You choose the fillings with us, such as pork carnitas, chicken tinga or beef birria, with a vegan filling like black bean and sweet potato or spiced mushroom. It works well for family celebrations and wedding meals, serving slow-cooked fillings kept hot, a build-your-own taco bar and burrito bowls.

Near Ryarsh, a marquee or barn makes a good home for a taco bar. We set up the station and our team runs it. We cater for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests, and we give allergen information for every dish.

  • Where to see their hygiene rating

Dietary needs and planning tips

Mixed diets are straightforward to plan for, because options can be kept separate. Here are a few tips for planning:

  • Give us separate numbers for children
  • Check where our vehicle can unload
  • Plan the taco bar around speeches and timings
  • Make sure guests have somewhere to sit

We get there early enough to unload, lay out the table and heat everything through.

Add burrito bowls for guests who’d rather skip tortillas.

Ryarsh: your questions answered

Do you set up taco bars indoors in places like Ryarsh?

We can, as long as the venue agrees. The station needs room for a queue, and we need to park and unload close to the door.

What’s the nearest station to Ryarsh for guests?

Guests can use West Malling station, about 1.7 miles south-east of Ryarsh.

How many guests can you serve?

That depends on the menu and the service time, but our truck and trailer service normally suits around 50 to 400 guests. For anything outside that, ask us.

Can you keep it mild?

It is up to you: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side.

What should the venue provide?

Tell us about the venue and the spot you have in mind, and we will check it works. The venue’s agreement is needed too.

Where do you cater?

We cover London and the South East, Kent included. Find your area.

Do you have vegan options?

Yes, and we plan them in from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect.

Do you have options for kids?

Yes, children are easy to plan for. Let us know numbers and ages, and we will suggest mild options.

What happens on the day

Serving is quick: we serve from the hatch or a serving station, so a crowd is looked after quickly. Afterwards we clear our area. In Ryarsh, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:00pm in late September, so an outdoor taco bar in summer is normally served in daylight. For winter events, dark by about 3:50pm, plan good lighting over the station.

  1. Tell us the date, the venue, how many guests and any diets.
  2. We plan the fillings and toppings with you and quote for them.
  3. Together we fix the spot for the taco bar and a nearby place for our vehicle.
  4. We set out warm tortillas, hot fillings, salsas and toppings, and guests help themselves.
  5. Once guests have eaten, we take down the bar and leave the spot tidy.

Before we arrive

  • Arrange somewhere covered for guests to eat
  • Measure any gates or arches on the way in
  • Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time

Warm tortillas

Tortillas are the base of the bar. We warm them as the bar needs them through service.

Toppings

The toppings are where guests make each taco their own, and dairy-free choices are kept apart.
