Taco bar hire in Sarre
Taco bar hire in Sarre, from our food truck or trailer
Our taco bar travels to events across Sarre and the surrounding area: marquees, barns, gardens, halls and workplaces, wherever there’s room for the table. It suits marquee parties and family get-togethers, with burrito bowls, fresh salsas and a build-your-own taco bar.
For a rural spot like Sarre, a taco bar beside the truck in a field or garden is a simple set-up. Tell us about gates, ground and the distance from the lane, and we confirm power and water arrangements before the day. We cater for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan guests, and we give allergen information for every dish.

Dietary needs and planning tips
A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Try these:
- Make sure one filling is vegan
- Flag any guest with coeliac disease
- Tell us when guests should eat
- Count children separately
Our staff stand behind the bar to top up dishes and help guests about fillings and allergens.
Tell us if you need plates and cutlery and we will confirm what’s possible in your quote.
Prices and what affects them
The price comes down to a few factors:
- Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
- Plates, napkins and cutlery
- How long we are needed on site
- How many staff you need
Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, as there’s no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.
Getting an accurate quote
Good planning starts with a few facts. Try to include:
- Diets and allergies you know about
- Expected numbers
- Your menu ideas
- The address or venue name
Every quote is put together for your event. Tell us your date and guest numbers, and we will check availability at the same time.
How it compares
If you want food that feels sociable but still well run, a taco bar suits events well. What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so share your ideas with us. We will suggest options to suit your budget.

Planning a taco bar in Sarre
Sarre is about 5 miles south-east of Herne Bay, in Kent. Tell us where your event in Sarre will be, and we’ll plan the journey and set-up before the day. We cater in all 922 towns and villages across Kent, wherever the truck or trailer can get in. We cater right across the region, from Sarre to Canterbury (about 8 miles away).
Close to Sarre are historic houses such as Quex Park (4.1 miles north-east). If your event is at a historic house or estate, ask early whether a staffed taco bar is allowed and where we could unload. When the service is at a church such as Church of Saint Nicholas, the taco bar would be set up at the reception venue rather than the church. Sarre is within about 6 miles of the sea, so for a seaside taco bar we plan around the wind. A sheltered spot for the station helps, and seafront sites generally need permission.
This part of Kent takes in CT7, so your event can be anywhere in it. Streets in the area include Island Road, Old Road and Chantry Park, and an event on any of them can work if the truck or trailer can park nearby. Other places close to Sarre for taco bar hire include St Nicholas at Wade (1 mile north-east), West Stourmouth (1 mile south), East Stourmouth (2 miles south), Monkton (2 miles east) and Upstreet (2 miles south-west). Within a short drive, we also cover Canterbury (8 miles south-west), Margate (7 miles north-east), Dover (14 miles south), Ramsgate (7 miles east), Broadstairs (8 miles east) and Whitstable (9 miles west).
Nearby you will also find Powell-Cotton Museum (3.8 miles north-east).
- Pubs nearby include Kings Head Inn (less than half a mile east)

Salsa lets everyone pick their own heat.
Toppings

For planners, venues and organisers
Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.
Throwing a party at home? Send us a picture of the space and tell us about the drive and gates, and we will tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.
Questions from Sarre
Could you come to a seaside event near Sarre?
Yes, as long as the site allows it and the ground is firm. Wind, sand and seafront permissions are the main things to plan on the coast.
Do you cater in villages like Sarre?
Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.
Do you cater for vegetarian guests?
Yes, they’re part of the planning from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect, and we’ll keep their options separate.
Do you take everything away?
We pack down and tidy our own area after service. For anything beyond that, such as guests’ tables, ask us.
What areas do you cover?
We cater across London and the South East, Kent included. See all areas.
Can guests build their own tacos?
We can. We can set up a build-your-own taco bar, served from the truck or a serving table, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from. Read our taco bar guide.
Who looks after the taco bar?
The taco bar is served from a table or station by our staff, so you do not need helpers. When service ends, we clear it away.
How long do you serve for?
That depends on your event and menu. Timings are agreed in advance so everything fits your schedule.
The process
When we arrive, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. We are ready to serve at the agreed time, so everything runs to your schedule. Around midsummer it stays light in Sarre until about 9:15pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:00pm, so an outdoor taco bar in summer is usually served in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 3:50pm, so guests will need light to see the fillings and toppings.
- Start with your date, venue and guest numbers.
- Together we choose what goes on the bar.
- We confirm the table spot and where we’ll unload.
- Our staff set out the bar and guests build their own tacos.
- We clear the bar away after service.
How to prepare
- Let us know the timings for the day
- Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
- Measure any gates or arches on the way in
