Taco bar hire in Seal, served fresh
Truck and trailer bookings usually suit around 50 to 400 guests, while smaller parties are quoted case by case. Tell us your numbers and we’ll plan the taco bar around them. For retirement parties and office lunches, we will put together a menu of warm corn and flour tortillas, fresh salsas and slow-cooked fillings kept hot for your guests.
In a small place like Seal, a taco bar might go in a garden, a barn or a nearby hall. If lanes or soft ground stop the truck getting close, the station can be set up nearer your guests, though we still need to unload within a short walk. We arrive ready to serve, and clear our own area when service is finished.
FAQs for Seal
We are having a ceremony at Church of St Peter and St Paul: can you cater afterwards?
Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.
Can you bring a truck or trailer to venues in the Kent Downs National Landscape?
We do, where the venue allows a catering vehicle. Lanes can be narrow and ground soft, so tell us how we’d get in.
What do you need at the venue?
Room for the table and a queue, plus a nearby place to unload. Power and water are confirmed with each booking.
What if a vehicle can’t reach the serving spot?
It can go beside the truck or trailer, or somewhere a vehicle can’t reach. Either way, we need to unload nearby and have the venue’s permission.
Do you need electricity?
That depends on the set-up, and we agree power and water with you before the day. Let us know whether there’s a supply near where we’ll park.
What food and drinks do you offer?
Every menu is agreed with you. Fillings could include slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga, beef birria and vegan options such as spiced mushrooms or black beans. See our menu for ideas.
Is the taco bar staffed?
We run the station ourselves, so your hosts don’t need to. When service ends, we clear it away.
Do you do margaritas?
Yes, we offer a Mexican drinks bar, serving margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas such as hibiscus and horchata, and soft drinks. Your venue or event may need the right licence for alcohol, so we will go through the licensing with you.
What affects the price in Seal
Every event is priced individually, and the price depends on a few things:
- Guest numbers
- Plates, napkins and cutlery
- Timings and hours
- Travel, parking and access
If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we will suggest a menu to match. A simple menu can still feel generous.
What to tell us
Good planning starts with a few facts. Try to include:
- Diets and allergies you know about
- Whether you’d like food, drinks or both
- Your date and when you want service to start
- The address or venue name
Not sure what you need yet? That is fine: give us the basics about your event, and we’ll suggest a menu. To start, send a quick message through our quote form.
Dietary needs and planning tips
Most events have a mix of diets. To plan for them:
- Plan the taco bar around speeches and timings
- Check where our vehicle can unload
- Make sure one filling is vegan
- Ask guests about diets and allergies on the RSVP
Our staff stand behind the bar to top up dishes and help guests about fillings and allergens.
Ask us whether a second station would help with big numbers, quoted for your event.

DIY taco night or a caterer?
Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we’ll do the serving.
A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it’s more work than it looks. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Read our guide to taco bars.
What’s on the menu
Salsas
Fresh salsas, from a mild tomato salsa to something hotter.
Guacamole
No taco bar is complete without guacamole.
What happens on the day
Expect a friendly, organised team. We agree arrival and serving times in advance, get the serving area ready, and serve without fuss. In Seal, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so a summer taco bar outside normally runs in daylight. In December it is dark by about 3:55pm, so guests will need light to see the fillings and toppings.
- Start with the essentials: the date, venue, headcount and diets.
- We suggest fillings, salsas and toppings for the bar and send a quote.
- We agree where the table goes and where our vehicle can unload.
- Our staff set up the station, keep the fillings hot and top up the bar through service.
- After the last tacos, we clear the station away.
Getting ready for the day
- Give us your final numbers and diets
- Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
- Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
How to get a price
To get a price, just send a quick message through our quote form. Give us the details of your event, and we will put together a menu and price.
