Taco bar hire in West Town, served fresh

The taco bar works for a wedding breakfast, a party or a working lunch. Building your own is quick, which keeps the line moving, and nobody waits long. It works well for engagement and anniversary parties and garden parties, serving burrito bowls, a build-your-own taco bar and guacamole.

Around West Town, a taco bar can stand beside our truck on a drive or lawn. If the truck can’t reach the garden, we park as close as we can and set the station up where your guests are, as long as we can unload within a short walk. We prepare everything fresh for your event and serve it straight from our truck or trailer.

The process

We get there well before you want to serve, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. Guests come up to order when service opens. A December taco bar in West Town will be in the dark from about 4:00pm, so set the station up where the lighting is good. In late June, the light holds until around 9:20pm.

  1. Start with your date, venue and guest numbers.
  2. Together we choose what goes on the bar.
  3. We confirm the table spot and where we’ll unload.
  4. Our staff set out the bar and guests build their own tacos.
  5. We clear the bar away after service.

Before we arrive

  • Arrange somewhere covered for guests to eat
  • Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
  • Give us your final numbers and diets

Diets, allergies and planning

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. We suggest:

  • Confirm any allergies to us by email
  • Give us separate numbers for children
  • Ask guests about diets and allergies on the RSVP
  • Flag any guest with coeliac disease

Dishes are labelled, with allergen information available at the table.

Ask us about plates, napkins and cutlery and we will set out the options in your quote.

What affects the price in West Town

Each event is quoted on its own, and the price depends on a few things:

  • What’s on the menu
  • The length of service
  • Whether you add a drinks bar or food
  • Serving staff

Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, because it needs no venue kitchen. Ask us for a quote.

What we need to know

To speed things up, tell us:

  • What you’d like on the menu
  • What power and water the site has
  • Roughly how many adults and children

For planners, venues and organisers

Hosting a party at home? Send us a picture of the space and tell us about the drive and gates, and we’ll tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.

Booking for a company? Tell us what your finance team needs, and we will explain how it works. We are happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Contact us for a quote to compare.

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: see how many tacos per person. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.
