Taco bar hire in Woodrow

About our taco bar hire in Woodrow

For a bigger spread, burrito bowls, nachos or quesadillas can sit alongside the tacos. Margaritas and aguas frescas from our drinks bar can be added. It suits staff parties and anniversary parties, serving warm corn and flour tortillas, burrito bowls and a build-your-own taco bar.

Near Woodrow, a taco bar next to the truck in a field or garden works well. Tell us about gates, ground and the distance from the lane, and we confirm power and water arrangements before the day. You can book food, drinks or both, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

The process

We arrive in good time before service, then set up and prepare everything. Guests come up to order when service opens. A December taco bar in Woodrow will be in the dark from about 3:55pm, so an indoor spot or a well-lit station works best. In late June, the light holds until around 9:25pm.

  1. Share a few details about the event.
  2. You get a suggested taco-bar menu and a quote.
  3. Access, power and water are agreed beforehand.
  4. We set up the station and keep everything hot.
  5. At the end, we take everything away.

Before we arrive

  • Share the running order, including any speeches
  • Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day

Taco bar hire or something else?

The difference between a taco bar and truck service is who builds the taco. From the truck, we put each order together; at the bar, guests build their own. Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so share your ideas with us. We will suggest options to suit your budget.

What you get with us

  • Access, space and power checked in advance
  • Menus for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests
  • A clear quote
  • Fast service, even with a queue

Read our pricing or the cost guide.

How we price taco bar hire

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • Food, drinks or both
  • Parking and the route in
  • What’s on the menu
  • Plates, napkins and cutlery

Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.

What we need to know

You do not need every detail fixed to get a quote, but it helps to know:

  • A picture of where we’d park
  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • The date and time of the event

To get a price, just use our quote form. Give us the details of your event, and we will put together a menu and price.

Common questions in Woodrow

Which station is closest to Woodrow?

Guests can use Amersham station, about 2.1 miles north-east of Woodrow.

Could you set up a taco bar in a hall near Woodrow?

We can, as long as the venue agrees. The station needs room for a queue, and we need to park and unload close to the door.

Can you run a bar?

Yes, we do. Our drinks bar can be booked on its own or with food. For alcohol, we will talk licensing through with you and your venue.

How much space do you need?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, plus the venue’s permission. We confirm power and water with you for each booking.

Do you have vegan options?

Yes. We can include vegetarian and vegan fillings like black beans or spiced mushrooms.

When do you arrive?

We get there well before service to set up. The length of service is agreed when you book.

Is the taco bar staffed?

The taco bar is served from a table or station by our staff, so your hosts don’t need to. We pack it away afterwards.

What if the weather’s bad?

The truck or trailer can serve in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat and drink, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.

For planners, venues and organisers

If you are booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we will talk you through the process. We can work with your facilities team on access and timings.
