Wedding Mexican catering near Canada

Catering for every guest

Mixed diets are straightforward to plan for, because options can be kept separate. Here are a few tips for planning:

  • Flag any coeliac guests or serious allergies
  • Include suppliers who need feeding
  • Tell us how many evening guests to expect
  • Connect us with your coordinator

On the day, we work with your coordinator or toastmaster, so you do not have to.

Wedding Mexican catering for your wedding in Canada

A food truck can make a colourful backdrop for photos, and guests enjoy seeing their food served fresh. Popular choices include burrito bowls, tacos and loaded nachos, which works well for rustic barn weddings and receptions after an intimate ceremony.

Near Canada, weddings are often in fields, barns or gardens. A truck or trailer works well there: no venue kitchen needed, just level, firm ground and a way in. Tell us about lanes, gates and ground conditions. Food and drinks can be booked together or separately, so one caterer can cover more of the day.

FAQs for Canada

Which station is closest to Canada?

Romsey station, about 4.6 miles north-east of the centre.

Will you travel to a small place like Canada?

Yes, small places are no problem, given access. Let us know about access and parking for the truck or trailer.

How far ahead should we book?

The sooner the better. Popular dates go first, so contact us early.

Can you plan for allergies?

Yes, and it helps to hear about allergies when you book. UK law requires caterers to provide information on 14 allergens, and we do that for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.

Can you do dairy-free food?

Yes, on request. Tell us how many guests need dairy-free food, and we’ll include them in the plan.

Do you do parties at home?

That depends on access. A drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission, if the garden itself is out of reach. Tell us about the space and we’ll advise.

What’s on the menu?

We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings could include chicken tinga, pork carnitas, al pastor-style pork and vegan options like black beans. Our sample menu has more ideas.

Do you have options for kids?

Yes, children are easy to plan for. Let us know numbers and ages, and we will suggest mild options.

Organising for someone else?

Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.

Hosting a party at home? Send a picture of the space and tell us about access, and we will tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.

What affects the price in Canada

Every event is priced individually, and the price depends on a few things:

  • Distance and access to the venue
  • How many staff you need
  • Food, drinks or both
  • What’s on the menu

What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so tell us what you have in mind. Tell us your budget and we will suggest a menu.

What we need to know

These details help us quote quickly:

  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • The address or venue name
  • A picture of where we’d park

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, plus any dietary needs, and we’ll reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. To get started, fill in our quote form.

  • Late-evening wedding food

Around Canada, historic houses include Landford Manor (2 miles north-west). If your reception is at a historic house or estate, ask early about its rules on outside caterers and vehicles.

What your quote should include

  • How late numbers can change
  • What happens if it rains
  • What the caterer needs from your venue
  • Allergen information for each dish

Our caterer checklist

Should I do it myself?

A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, with allergen information for every dish.

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Contact us for a quote to compare.

The process

A typical event goes like this: we arrive and set up, we open the hatch when you are ready, and your guests are served fresh for the agreed time. In Canada, midsummer sunset is about 9:25pm, and by late September it’s nearer 7:10pm, so evening tacos are generally served in daylight in high summer. For autumn and winter weddings, when it is dark by about 4:00pm in December, plan lighting around the truck or trailer.

  1. Tell us your date, venue and numbers.
  2. We plan the wedding breakfast, evening food or both with you.
  3. Timings are agreed with your venue.
  4. We serve at the agreed points in the day.
  5. We clear our area once service ends.

How to prepare

  • Give us your final numbers and diets
  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
  • Let us know the timings for the day
