Wedding Mexican catering in Hove, served fresh

Add our Mexican drinks bar for margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas, with alcohol-free options too. We’ll check the licensing with you and your venue. At barn and farm weddings and big weddings with every diet, we can serve tacos, evening tacos and a taco bar for the wedding breakfast.

For a wedding in Hove, a marquee in a family garden or a hall with a car park keeps things personal. Tacos for the wedding breakfast or the evening suit that kind of day, as long as the truck or trailer can get in. Timings are planned around your event, so service starts when you want it.

Why choose wedding Mexican catering in Hove?

Plated wedding meals need a kitchen and more staff. Our food truck or trailer brings its own kitchen, and the style is more relaxed. A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, as there is no kitchen to hire. Contact us for a quote to compare.

Choosing a Mexican caterer

Prices and what affects them

Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, because of:

  • Parking and the route in
  • Timings and hours
  • How many guests we are serving
  • What’s on the menu

Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed in your quote.

Getting an accurate quote

You do not need every detail fixed to get a quote, but it helps to know:

  • Your date and when you want service to start
  • Your menu ideas
  • The address or venue name
  • What power and water the site has

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, along with any dietary needs, and we will reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. Just fill in our quote form.

How the day works

Here’s how the day normally runs: we arrive and set up, we open the hatch when you are ready, and we serve your guests fresh until service ends. In Hove, midsummer sunset is about 9:20pm, and by late September it’s nearer 7:05pm, which means evening food is normally served in daylight in June and July. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it is dark by about 3:55pm.

  1. First, we check availability for your date.
  2. You choose the fillings, sides and extras.
  3. We confirm access and the serving spot with your coordinator.
  4. Food is served from the taco bar or the hatch.
  5. We serve, then pack down.

Preparing for the day

  • Share the running order, including any speeches
  • Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches

How to get a price

Not sure what you need yet? That is fine: tell us about the occasion and the guests, and we will make suggestions. When you are ready, send a quick message through our quote form.

Should I do it myself?

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles allergen information for you.

Hove weddings: local tips

Hove is about 2 miles west of Brighton, in Brighton and Hove. Give us the address of your wedding in Hove, and we’ll plan the journey and set-up before the day. Hove is one of 30 places in Brighton and Hove we cover.

Looking for a natural setting for portraits? Whitehawk Hill is within easy reach of Hove. Say your vows at a church like Holy Trinity Church, then head to a garden, barn or marquee where the truck or trailer is waiting. Service can start as guests arrive. Couples near Hove have the South Downs National Park within about 7 miles, if a countryside setting appeals. Barns and fields there can be reached down narrow tracks, so we check the route with the venue. Couples near the coast, within about 2 miles of Hove, sometimes want a beach feel. We need firm ground for the truck or trailer, so a clifftop lawn or venue car park may suit better than the sand.

Here we cover the BN3, BN1 and BN52 postcode area, and we can cater your wedding anywhere in it with access for the truck or trailer. Streets in the area include Farm Road, York Road and Aymer Road, and a wedding on any of them can work if the truck or trailer can park nearby. Being close to the A270 and A2023, Hove is easy for us to reach with the truck or trailer for your wedding. Nearby, we also cater weddings in Brighton and Hove (1 mile north-west), Brunswick (1 mile south-east), Aldrington (1 mile west), Prestonville (1 mile north-east) and West Blatchington (1 mile north). Within a short drive, we also cover Kemptown (3 miles east), Whitehawk (3 miles east), Moulsecoomb (3 miles east), Hollingbury (3 miles north-east), Bevendean (3 miles east) and Saltdean (6 miles east). Questions from Hove

Do you cater at coastal events near Hove?

Yes, as long as the site allows it and the ground is firm. Seafront and beach spots normally need permission, and wind is the main thing to plan for.

Do you come to events in the South Downs National Park?

Yes, though some venues in protected landscapes have extra rules; ask your venue. We’ll follow the site rules.

Do you cover Hove?

We do. We serve at events in Hove and across Brighton and Hove. Send us your date to check availability.

Do you do parties at home?

It depends on access. A drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission, if the garden itself is out of reach. Tell us about the space and we’ll advise.

Do you cater for vegetarian guests?

Yes. We can include vegetarian and vegan fillings like black beans or spiced mushrooms.

Do you cater for coeliacs?

We can, using corn tortillas. Corn tortillas are naturally gluten-free, but some fillings, sauces and toppings may not be, so we check every dish and give allergen information.

What’s on the menu?

Mexican street food: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, plus salsas, guacamole and toppings. We also run a Mexican drinks bar.

What about power on site?

Tell us what the site has, for example a supply from the venue, and we’ll confirm the arrangements with your quote.
