Wedding Mexican catering for Warningcamp events

Weddings in Warningcamp: venues, ceremonies and travel

Warningcamp is about 3 miles north of Littlehampton, in West Sussex. For a wedding in Warningcamp, we can park up at venues, fields, drives and courtyards in and around Warningcamp. Warningcamp is one of 371 places in West Sussex where we can bring wedding Mexican catering. We cater right across the region, from Warningcamp to Chichester (about 11 miles away).

Historic houses near Warningcamp include Ecclesden Manor (2.8 miles south-east) and Parham House (4.8 miles north). A listed house can make a beautiful backdrop, but many have firm rules on vehicles, so raise the food truck with them at your first visit. WWT Arundel nearby could make a lovely backdrop for photos. Couples near Warningcamp have the South Downs National Park within about 4 miles, if a countryside setting appeals. Barns and fields there can be reached down narrow tracks, so we check the route with the venue. Couples near the coast, within about 4 miles of Warningcamp, sometimes want a beach feel. We need firm ground for the truck or trailer, so a clifftop lawn or venue car park may suit better than the sand.

Anywhere in BN18, we can bring wedding Mexican catering to you. Streets in the area include Blakehurst Lane and Clay Lane, and a wedding on any of them can work if the truck or trailer can park nearby. Neighbouring places where we cater weddings include Crossbush (1 mile south-west), Poling (1 mile south-east), Arundel (2 miles west), Lyminster (2 miles south-west) and Toddington (2 miles south). Further out, we also cater in Worthing (6 miles east), Bognor Regis (8 miles south-west), Chichester (11 miles west), Selsey (14 miles south-west), Littlehampton (3 miles south) and Shoreham-by-Sea (11 miles east).

A little further out are Arundel and District Hospital (1.8 miles west) and Lyminster Siege Castle (0.6 miles west). Green spaces nearby include WWT Arundel and Highdown Hill.

Wedding Mexican catering in Warningcamp, from our food truck or trailer

We can do the wedding breakfast, evening food, or the two together. A taco bar for the meal and loaded nachos or tacos for the evening works well. It works well for receptions after a small ceremony and informal wedding breakfasts, serving fresh guacamole and salsas, quesadillas and evening tacos.

Near Warningcamp, weddings are often in fields, barns or gardens. A truck or trailer works well there: no kitchen, just firm ground and access. Tell us about lanes, gates and ground conditions. You’ll know what’s included before booking: the menu, the service time and any extras you choose.

Warningcamp: your questions answered

Do you cater in the South Downs National Park?

We do, where the venue allows a catering vehicle. Lanes can be narrow and ground soft, so tell us how we’d get in.

Do you cater at coastal events near Warningcamp?

Yes, as long as the site allows it and the ground is firm. Wind, sand and seafront permissions are the main things to plan on the coast.

Do you bring plates and cutlery?

That’s confirmed with each quote. Tell us whether your venue has crockery or you’d prefer disposables and we’ll talk it through.

How much space do you need?

Access and level ground matter most: a level spot to park, space for guests to queue and a little room for a serving table. If in doubt, send us a photo of the space and the way in.

What food and drinks do you offer?

We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings could include chicken tinga, pork carnitas, al pastor-style pork and vegan options like black beans. See our menu for ideas.

Can you cater for vegans and gluten-free guests?

We plan carefully and keep options separate. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the wedding.

What areas do you cover?

London and South East England: Greater London, Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

Our truck and trailer service typically suits events of around 50 to 400 guests. Smaller parties are quoted case by case, and festivals can be larger. Send us your numbers and we’ll advise.

Planners, venues and businesses

If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can check the date.

If you’re organising for someone else, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we’re happy to deal with you and the venue directly. It saves passing messages back and forth.

Diets, allergies and planning

With a little notice, most diets are easy. Our advice:

  • Collect dietary needs on the RSVP
  • Have cover for guests if the weather turns
  • Check your date with us early
  • Put us in touch with your venue

On the day, we work with your coordinator or toastmaster, so you can enjoy yourselves.

We can feed your photographer and band too if you add them to the final count.

Space, access and the venue

We serve from a truck or trailer, so where we park matters. Here’s what we look for:

  • A serving spot close to the marquee or reception area
  • A flat, firm spot where the truck or trailer can stand
  • Space for guests to queue

If you are unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think.

What’s on the menu

Loaded nachos

Tortilla chips with cheese, salsa, guacamole and toppings, made for sharing.

Burrito bowls

A burrito bowl is a good alternative to tacos.

How it compares

Plated wedding meals need a kitchen and more staff. Our truck or trailer brings its own kitchen, and a taco bar feels more relaxed. What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so tell us what you have in mind. We’ll suggest options to suit your budget.

The process

We take care of everything you’ve booked, from set-up to service, so you can enjoy your wedding. At midsummer, sunset in Warningcamp is about 9:20pm, which helps us time evening food around your photos. In late May, sunset is about 8:50pm, and in late September about 7:05pm.

  1. You send us your wedding date, venue, numbers and how you see the day.
  2. We plan the food with you: wedding breakfast, evening food or both.
  3. We confirm access, the serving spot and the running order with the venue.
  4. On the day we set up and serve when your running order says.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

Before we arrive

  • Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time
  • Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
  • Let us know the timings for the day

Can I do a taco night myself?

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Read our guide to taco bars.

A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles allergen information for you.

How we price wedding Mexican catering

Here’s what makes the biggest difference to the price:

  • Timings and hours
  • Travel, parking and access
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
  • The menu you choose

Got a budget? Let us know, and we will suggest a menu that fits. A simple menu can still feel generous.

Getting an accurate quote

You don’t need every detail fixed to get a quote, but it helps to know:

  • What power and water the site has
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • The date and rough timings

Not sure what you need yet? That is fine: give us the basics about your wedding, and we’ll suggest a menu. To start, send a quick message through our quote form.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
