About our wedding Mexican catering in Whitechapel

We cater weddings in and around Whitechapel, from garden celebrations to marquee receptions. Tell us your plans and we will suggest what fits. It works well for big weddings with every diet and blessings and vow renewals, with tacos, a taco bar for the wedding breakfast and loaded nachos.

For a wedding in Whitechapel, a taco bar for the wedding breakfast or tacos as evening food can both work. Narrow streets mean we plan where the truck or trailer stops, and a parking suspension may be needed at some venues. We plan the timings around your day, so service starts when you want it.

Whitechapel: your questions answered

Can you bring your truck or trailer to Finsbury Circus?

Only if the landowner, often the council, allows it. Ask them first, and we will help with the information they need from us.

Where would you park in Whitechapel?

That depends on the street. A drive, a courtyard or a bay suspended by the council can all work, so tell us what’s outside your venue. The ULEZ covers all of Greater London.

What if our speeches run late?

Tell us and we’ll adjust. We keep in touch with your venue on the day and serve when you’re ready.

Can a taco bar feel special?

With good presentation, it feels like a celebration.

When should we book?

As early as you can, especially for summer weekends. Ask about your date even if it’s soon.

Can you serve in the rain?

The truck or trailer can serve in the rain, but your guests will want somewhere covered, like a marquee or gazebo.

How many guests can you serve?

It depends on the menu and how long service runs, but around 50 to 400 guests is the usual range. For anything outside that, ask us.

Do you have vegan options?

Yes, they’re part of the planning from the start. Tell us your numbers when you ask for a quote.

Organising for someone else?

If you’re planning an event on someone’s behalf, whether you are a planner, an office manager or an event organiser, we’ll work directly with you and the venue. It saves passing messages back and forth.

Wedding planners and venue coordinators are welcome to contact us directly, and we’ll keep everyone informed on the day.

Can I do a taco night myself?

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone has to serve all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

How it works

We need a level, firm spot we can drive the truck or trailer onto, with power and water arrangements agreed beforehand. A photo of the space helps. For a summer wedding in Whitechapel, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so evening tacos are typically served in daylight in high summer. For autumn and winter weddings, when it is dark by about 3:55pm in December, plan lighting around the truck or trailer.

  1. You send us your wedding date, venue, numbers and how you see the day.
  2. Together we choose a taco bar, evening food or both, and we send a quote.
  3. We agree access, timings, power and water with you and your venue.
  4. We arrive, set up and serve the food at the agreed times.
  5. We pack down after service and leave our area tidy.

Preparing for the day

  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
  • Let us know the timings for the day
  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site

How to get a price

It is easy to get a price: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We will come back with a clear quote and a suggested menu.

Planning help

Space, access and the venue

Everything is served from our truck or trailer, so the spot needs a little planning. These are the things we check:

  • Details of power and water on site, agreed when you book
  • A serving spot close to the marquee or reception area
  • Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer

In Whitechapel, as everywhere in Greater London, the ULEZ applies and kerb space is limited. Where will the truck or trailer stop? A drive, a courtyard or a suspended bay can all work.

If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think.

What we offer

  • Evening tacos
  • Nachos to share
  • Burritos and bowls
  • Taco bar wedding breakfast
  • Margarita bar
  • Guacamole and salsas

How we price wedding Mexican catering

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • What’s on the menu
  • Parking and the route in
  • Plates, napkins and cutlery
  • How long we are needed on site

The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Tell us your numbers for an accurate price.

What we need to know

When you contact us, it helps to tell us:

  • What power and water the site has
  • The address or venue name
  • Expected numbers
  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground

The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote: venue, timings, menu ideas and access. To send your details, tell us about it on our contact page.
