Little Venice: your questions answered

What’s the nearest station to Little Venice for guests?

Guests can use London Paddington station, which is right in Little Venice.

What about parking in Little Venice?

It can be tricky, so tell us about parking bays, permits or a driveway. A parking suspension may be needed, and the whole of Greater London is inside the ULEZ.

Do you give allergen information?

Yes. Tell us about allergies when you book. Under UK rules, caterers must give information on 14 allergens, and we do that for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.

How is the food prepared?

Food is cooked to order in our truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.

Can you cater in a back garden?

Yes, if the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Send us a photo of the access and the space, and we will tell you honestly whether it works.

Can you serve a large team in a lunch break?

Yes, with planning. We plan serving points and timings around your break.

What do you need at the venue?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, and the venue’s agreement. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.

What food and drinks do you offer?

We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings might include chicken tinga, pork carnitas, al pastor-style pork and vegan options like black beans. See our menu for ideas.

Planning for every diet

We cater for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests. To get it right:

  • Share the timings for food
  • Collect dietary needs when people sign up
  • Offer water and soft drinks too
  • Check the site allows a food truck or trailer

We adapt if timings change.

How to compare caterers

Corporate Mexican catering or something else?

Sandwiches are easy but forgettable. A truck serving hot food is an event in itself. Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed in your quote.

Why us?

  • Set-up planned with you and your venue
  • Fast service, even with a queue
  • Quoted for your event
  • Allergen-aware menus

See our pricing or our guide to catering costs.

Prices and what affects them

Every event is priced individually, and the price depends on a few things:

  • How long we are needed on site
  • Whether you add a drinks bar or food
  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • Parking and the route in

Comparing caterers? Look at what each quote includes: serving hours, staff, disposables, travel and VAT. Contact us for a quote and we’ll set out what’s included.

What we need to know

Here’s what makes a quick, accurate quote possible:

  • The address or venue name
  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • A photo of the space, if it’s a garden or field

Getting a quote is simple: share your date, venue, numbers and diets. We’ll send you a clear quote.

What we need at the venue

The route in matters as much as the spot itself. We look for:

  • Details of power and water on site, agreed when you book
  • Sign-off from facilities for a catering vehicle
  • Some distance from houses and neighbours

As a London location, Little Venice is inside the ULEZ, and parking and loading take planning: let us know about permits, bays, off-street space or a parking suspension.

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise before booking.

How the day works

Guests tend to gather around the truck, so we’ll help you choose a spot with room for a queue. We can serve in the rain, though guests will want somewhere covered to stand or sit. For a Christmas party in Little Venice, it is dark by about 3:55pm, so the serving area and queue need good lighting. A summer party has daylight until about 9:20pm.

  1. First, we check the date and the site.
  2. You choose the menu.
  3. We send the paperwork your venue asks for.
  4. Staff order at the hatch or the taco bar.
  5. We serve, then clear away.

Preparing for the day
