Food truck hire in Brighthampton, from our food truck or trailer
The hatch menu is agreed with you: tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, loaded nachos or quesadillas, finished with salsas and guacamole. Popular choices include burritos, vegan tacos and loaded nachos, which works well for staff summer parties and wedding evening food.
In a small place like Brighthampton, a hired food truck might park in a garden, paddock or field. Lanes, gates and long drives are fine if we know about them. How it works
Once service is over, we pack down and clear our own area. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. A hired food truck at a summer event in Brighthampton can serve in daylight until about 9:30pm at midsummer, while late September brings sunset forward to around 7:10pm. In December it’s dark by about 3:55pm, so the queue by the hatch needs lighting.
- Tell us the date, the location, rough numbers and any diets.
- We suggest a menu for the hatch and quote for it.
- Where the truck or trailer will stand, the route in, and power and water are all agreed in advance.
- On the day we drive in, set up and serve to order from the hatch.
- Once guests are fed, we clear our area and head off.
Preparing for the day
- Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
- Ask the venue about power and water
- Give us a contact for the day

Your questions about food truck hire in Brighthampton
Could we book your food truck for a private event in Brighthampton?
Yes, subject to the date and access for the truck or trailer. Tell us about the lane, gates, ground and parking.
Is Brighthampton close to London?
Roughly 60 miles from the centre of London.
Do you sell to the public at private events?
Private hire means we serve only your guests, on a menu and timings agreed with you. Festival and market trading is open to the public.
Can you come to a private house?
It depends on access. If the truck or trailer can’t reach the garden, a drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission. Send us a photo and we’ll talk it through.
Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes, gluten-free options are available, made with corn tortillas. Tell us about any coeliac guests before the event so we can talk through how their food is prepared.
How does private food truck hire work?
You book the truck or trailer for set hours at your event. We cook, serve and clear away.
Do you do a taco bar?
Yes, a taco bar is one of the ways we serve. Tell us about your space and numbers and we’ll recommend how to serve.
Do you do margaritas?
Yes, we offer a Mexican drinks bar, serving margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas such as hibiscus and horchata, and soft drinks. Your venue or event may need the right licence for alcohol, so we will talk licensing through with you.
Organising for someone else?
If you’re booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we will talk you through the process. We can work with your facilities team on access and timings.
Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.
DIY taco night versus a caterer
Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.
Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.
Planning the serving area
Everything is served from our food truck or trailer, so where we park matters. Here’s what we look for:
- Arrangements for power and water, agreed when you book
- A way in wide and high enough for the vehicle
- Space in front of the hatch for guests to queue
If you are unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think.
