Food truck hire in Hatton, from our food truck or trailer

Guests walk up to the hatch, order and take their food away hot. It keeps things easy and relaxed. For retirement parties and private parties in fields and grounds, we can serve fresh salsas and guacamole, tacos from the hatch and loaded nachos for your guests.

Around Hatton, a hired truck or trailer needs a yard, forecourt or drive it can reach. The truck or trailer needs level ground and space for guests to queue, plus your venue’s agreement. Timings are planned around your event, so service starts when you want it.

Common questions in Hatton

Could your truck or trailer park at our home in Hatton?

That depends on the space. A drive, a courtyard or a suspended bay can all work, as long as the truck or trailer can reach a level spot. Tell us what’s outside, and remember the ULEZ covers all of Greater London.

Can you bring your truck or trailer to Hounslow Heath?

Only if the landowner, often the council, allows it. Ask them first, and we will help with the information they need from us.

How does food truck hire work?

Our truck or trailer comes to your venue and serves your guests from the hatch. Only your guests are served.

How spicy is the food?

That’s your choice: we can keep the main dishes mild, with hotter salsas served separately.

Can you do dairy-free food?

Yes. We offer dairy-free options.

Which areas do you serve?

London and South East England: Greater London, Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire, including Hatton.

Do you cater for dietary needs?

We plan for diets before the day, but we cannot promise an allergen-free kitchen. Anyone with a severe allergy should contact us before the event.

What access do you need?

Access and level ground matter most: a level spot to park, space for guests to queue and a little room for a serving table. If in doubt, send us a photo of the space and the way in.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it’s more work than it looks. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

What we need at the venue

Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but a few things matter:

  • Enough width and height on the route in
  • A flat parking spot on firm ground or hardstanding
  • A parking suspension, where a street spot is needed

Hatton is in London, inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, which covers all of Greater London, and parking can be tight: let us know about permits, bays, off-street space or a parking suspension.

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise.

How we price food truck hire

Pricing is straightforward once we know the basics:

  • How many staff you need
  • Guest numbers
  • How long we’re needed on site
  • Your choice of food and drinks

The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, since the set-up is much the same either way. Give us your numbers and we’ll quote.

What we need to know

You do not need every detail fixed to get a quote, but it helps to know:

  • The address or venue name
  • Expected numbers
  • The date and time of the event
  • Whether you’d like food, drinks or both

Every event is quoted individually, so the price fits what you actually want. For a quote, use our quote form.

How the day works

Once service is over, we pack down and clear our own area. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. A hired food truck at a summer event in Hatton can serve in daylight until about 9:20pm at midsummer, and by late September sunset is about 7:05pm. For winter events, dark by about 3:55pm, plan lighting where guests queue at the hatch.

  1. Share your plans for the event.
  2. We suggest fillings and dishes for every diet.
  3. We check power, water and timings with the venue.
  4. Service runs at the times you choose.
  5. When everyone is fed, we clear our area.

Getting ready for the day

  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
  • Name one person we can ask on the day
  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough

Getting a price

Send us the date, your venue or TW14 postcode and guest numbers, along with any dietary needs, and you will get menu ideas and a price. Just drop us a line using the enquiry form.

Perfect for your event in Hatton

People eat when they’re hungry, rather than all at once.

Big or small, a truck or trailer works well. Common bookings include:

  • Private outdoor parties
  • Company away days
  • Family celebrations
  • Client hospitality

When the service is at a church such as The Parish Church of the Good Shepherd, the truck would serve at the reception venue rather than at the church.

What your quote should include

  • Whether plates, napkins and cutlery are included
  • How bad weather is handled
  • Staff numbers and hours
  • When final numbers are due

Is food truck hire right for your event?

If you want guests to remember the food, hiring a Mexican food truck is worth considering. Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so tell us what you have in mind. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

Why us?

  • A plan agreed before the day
  • Allergen information for every dish

Catering for every guest

Allergies and diets are taken seriously. Help us by following these steps:

  • Think about cover if the weather turns
  • Collect diets and allergies with your RSVPs
  • Send allergy details in writing
  • Count children separately

Allergen information is available at the hatch for every dish, so guests can ask before ordering.

A taco-bar station can sit next to the truck for a wedding breakfast or lunch.

Organising for someone else?

If you’re booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll talk you through the process. We’re happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.

Wedding planners and venue coordinators are welcome to contact us directly, and we’ll keep everyone informed on the day.
