Food truck hire for your event in Kitwood

The hatch menu is agreed with you: tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, loaded nachos or quesadillas, with fresh salsas and guacamole. It works well for birthday parties and private parties in fields and grounds, serving loaded nachos, burrito bowls and burritos.

In a small place like Kitwood, a hired food truck might park in a garden, paddock or field. Tell us about narrow lanes, gates and long drives. Firm ground matters, especially after rain. You will know what’s included before booking: menu, timings and any add-ons.

Choosing a Mexican caterer

Why choose food truck hire in Kitwood?

Burger and pizza vans are familiar. Tacos and burritos from a truck feel different while staying easy to eat. Larger events can cost less per head, since the set-up is much the same either way. Give us your numbers and we’ll quote.

Why book with us

  • Set-up planned with you and your venue
  • Allergen information for everything we serve
  • A quote that sets out what’s included
  • Everything served fresh from the hatch

See our prices page and our guide to catering costs.

What we need at the venue

No two venues are the same, so we’ll ask about yours before we confirm. In general, we need:

  • Somewhere for guests to sit or stand and eat
  • Room for guests to gather at the hatch
  • A spot away from neighbours

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise.

On the menu in Kitwood

  • Burritos
  • Quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar
  • Loaded nachos
  • Tacos
  • Burrito bowls

Planning for every diet

We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests. To make it work smoothly:

  • Have shelter ready in case of rain
  • Confirm the venue accepts outside caterers and vehicles
  • Tell us when guests should eat
  • Measure gates and look for low branches on the way in

Service starts when your timings say, and we cook each order as it comes.

Simple quesadillas suit younger guests.

Should I do it myself?

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles allergen information for you.

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone has to serve all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

Organising for someone else?

Wedding planners and venue coordinators are welcome to contact us directly, and we will keep everyone informed on the day.

For big numbers, we plan service to keep queues short, so everyone is served promptly. Let us know how long the break is.

How it works

Service is quick and friendly: we serve from the hatch or a serving station, so a crowd is looked after quickly. When service ends, we pack down. December events in Kitwood lose the light at about 4:00pm, so choose a well-lit spot for the truck or trailer. At midsummer, sunset is around 9:25pm.

  1. Send us your date, the address, a headcount and dietary needs.
  2. We check availability and send a menu and a quote for hiring the truck or trailer.
  3. Before the day, we agree the spot, the way in, power and water.
  4. We arrive, open the hatch and cook to order for your guests.
  5. Once guests are fed, we clear our area and head off.

Preparing for the day

  • Tell us when you want service to start
  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain

Common questions in Kitwood

Do you hire out your food truck for parties in places like Kitwood?

Yes, as long as we are available on the date and can get the truck or trailer in. Tell us about the lane, gates, ground and parking.

About 50 miles from central London, and we cover it.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, they’re part of the planning from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect.

We clear our own area when service is finished. For anything beyond that, such as guests’ tables, ask us.

Where can the truck park?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding, access wide and high enough to drive in, and the venue’s permission. Power and water are confirmed with each booking.
