Food truck hire for your event in The Brents
Our drinks bar can be hired with the truck with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas, with licensing checked with you. A build-your-own taco bar can sit beside the truck too. It suits garden parties and launch events, serving burritos, tacos from the hatch and vegan tacos.
In a smaller place like The Brents, hiring our food truck for a party at home is often the easiest option: no venue to book, and guests order straight from the hatch. Let us know about the route to the house. You can book food, drinks or both, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.
Food truck hire in The Brents: local tips
The Brents is about 1 mile north-east of Faversham, in Kent. Wherever your event is in the ME13 area, we can serve your guests, as long as there’s access. The Brents is one of 922 places in Kent where we can bring food truck hire. We cater right across the region, from The Brents to Canterbury (9 miles away).
When the service is at a church such as Faversham Parish Church, the truck would serve at the reception venue rather than at the church. Before you plan a private event in Oare Meadow, ask whoever manages it about vehicles on site.
Food truck hire in ME13 is planned around your venue and access and timings. Whether your event is on Ham Road, Back Lane and Quay Lane or anywhere nearby, we’ll plan where to park and serve. The Brents: your questions answered
Could you serve our guests after a service at Faversham Parish Church?
Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.
Which station should guests use for The Brents?
Guests can use Faversham station, about 0.6 miles south of The Brents.
Can you do gluten-free food?
Yes, gluten-free options are available, using corn tortillas. Tell us about any coeliac guests before the event so we can explain how we prepare their food. See are corn tortillas gluten-free?
How much space do you need?
Access and level ground matter most: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. Send us a picture and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.
Can you cater for children?
Of course. Mild dishes, quesadillas and nachos can be part of the menu. Include children in your numbers.
Can we hire the truck for our wedding?
We can serve from the truck for the wedding meal, the evening or both. We fit service around your running order. See our food truck wedding guide.
What happens if it rains?
Rain doesn’t usually stop service from the truck or trailer. It is worth planning a covered area for guests, and let us know if the ground gets soft after heavy rain.
Do you provide drinks?
Yes. Our drinks bar can be booked on its own or with food. For alcohol, we’ll talk licensing through with you and your venue.
Food truck hire or something else?
A hog roast suits meat eaters well, but a Mexican menu covers vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests more easily. Larger events can cost less per head, since the set-up is much the same either way. Tell us your numbers for an accurate price.

Step by step
When we arrive, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. We’re ready to serve at the agreed time, so everything runs to your schedule. At midsummer, it stays light in The Brents until about 9:15pm, and by late September sunset is about 7:00pm. In December it is dark by about 3:50pm, so the queue by the hatch needs lighting.
- First come the basics: date, location, numbers and diets.
- We check availability and send a menu and a quote for hiring the truck or trailer.
- Where the truck or trailer will stand, the route in, and power and water are all agreed in advance.
- We arrive, open the hatch and cook to order for your guests.
- When service ends, we pack up and leave the spot clear.
