In a hamlet or village like World's End, our truck or trailer can serve a private party or a team day in a field or garden. • Staff appreciation days
  • End-of-year celebrations

How to compare caterers

What affects the price in World's End

Your quote will be clear. What affects it most:

  • How many staff you need
  • Guest numbers
  • Timings and hours
  • What the venue already provides

Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so tell us what you have in mind. We will suggest options to suit your budget.

What to tell us

You do not need everything decided to ask for a quote, but these help:

  • What power and water the site has
  • Where the event is
  • The date and rough timings
  • Any dietary needs and allergies

We need only a few details to quote: the date, where the event is, how many guests and any dietary needs. Contact us for a quote: just send a quick message through our quote form.

World's End questions

Do you cater in villages like World's End?

Yes, small places are no problem, given access. Let us know about access and parking for the truck or trailer.

Could we book your food truck for a private event in World's End?

Yes, subject to the date and access for the truck or trailer. Tell us about the lane, gates, ground and parking.

Is food truck hire good for weddings?

We can serve from the truck for the wedding meal, the evening or both. Timings are agreed with you and your venue. See our food truck wedding guide.

Do you offer a bar with the truck?

You can add our drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas. We will talk licensing through with you.

What space does the truck need?

Send us the address and a description of the spot, and we will check the access. There’s more in our space and power guide.

Is the truck suitable for a large group?

That depends on your timings and the event. Most bookings fall around 50 to 400 guests, so tell us your numbers.

Who clears up?

We pack down and tidy our own area after service. Ask us if you’d like help with anything else.

How does food truck hire work?

We bring our food truck or trailer to your venue, park in the agreed spot and serve your guests from the hatch. Only your guests are served.

The menu, item by item

Burrito bowls

Everything from a burrito, served in a bowl.

Loaded nachos

Crisp chips loaded with toppings, salsa and guacamole, for sharing.

How it works

Here’s how the day typically runs: we park up and get ready, we open the hatch when you are ready, and your guests are served fresh until service ends. December events in World's End lose the light at about 4:00pm, so ask the venue about outdoor lighting where we will park. At midsummer, sunset is around 9:25pm.

  1. Share your plans for the event.
  2. We suggest fillings and dishes for every diet.
  3. Power, water and timings are agreed with you or the venue.
  4. The truck serves at the agreed times.
  5. Once service ends, we tidy up and go.

How to prepare

  • Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time
  • Let us know who to talk to on the day
  • Share the running order, including any speeches

Space, access and the venue

If a space is not suitable, we’ll tell you, and help find another spot. What matters most:

  • The landowner’s go-ahead for the truck or trailer
  • A parking suspension, where a street spot is needed
  • Power and water, confirmed with each booking

If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think.

Can I do a taco night myself?

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

Diets, allergies and planning

A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Here’s how:

  • Confirm allergies with us in writing
  • Plan a covered area for guests to eat
  • Add a dietary question to the invitation
  • Let us know who is coeliac

Service starts when your timings say.

Simple quesadillas suit younger guests, if you’d like a kids’ choice.

Planning food truck hire around World's End

World's End is about 6 miles north of Thatcham, in West Berkshire. For food truck hire in World's End, we can serve in gardens, fields, venues, car parks and courtyards with access. World's End is one of 155 places in West Berkshire we cover. Our truck and trailer cover the area from World's End to Reading (14 miles away).

When the service is at a church such as Church of St Nicholas, the truck would serve at the reception venue rather than at the church. With the North Wessex Downs National Landscape within about 4 miles, a rural setting for your private or work event is within reach. Firm ground and a clear way in matter most for the truck or trailer.

Wherever your event is in RG20, we can bring the truck or trailer to your guests, from busy streets to quiet lanes. Whether your event is on Russet Way, Old Street and The Blossoms or a nearby road, we can bring food truck hire there, given access.
