Mexican catering for Axmansford events

Planning for every diet

With a little notice, most diets are easy. We suggest:

  • Tell us how many children are coming
  • Make sure the menu has a vegan option
  • Let us know about any other food at the event
  • Ask guests about diets and allergies with your invitations

When service ends, we pack down and clear our area, leaving the space as we found it.

Extra salsas and toppings can widen the choice.

Mexican catering in Axmansford, from our food truck or trailer

Looking for taco catering in Axmansford? With mobile Mexican catering, we bring the kitchen with us: we park our food truck or trailer on site and serve hot food from it. You don’t need a kitchen at the venue. At birthday parties and fundraisers and school events, we’ll put together a menu of burritos, a build-your-own taco bar and burrito bowls and more.

Somewhere as small as Axmansford, a garden or field is often the venue. Tell us about narrow lanes, gates and long drives and we will plan for them, and soft ground after rain is worth mentioning. Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included, and we give allergen information for every dish.

Can I do a taco night myself?

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: see how many tacos per person. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.

Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.

How the day works

Once service is over, we pack up and leave our area tidy. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. Around midsummer it stays light in Axmansford until about 9:25pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:10pm, so summer evening events are generally served in daylight. For winter events, when it is dark by about 4:00pm, plan lighting where guests queue and eat.

  1. First, send us your date, venue, numbers and any diets we should know about.
  2. We put together a menu around your guests and quote for it.
  3. Before the day, we agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve from the truck or trailer, or from a taco-bar station.
  5. After service, we clear away and leave the spot tidy.

Preparing for the day

  • Tell us when you want service to start

Axmansford: your questions answered

Can you cater a reception after a service at Church of St Stephen?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Which station is closest to Axmansford?

Guests can use Midgham station, about 3.4 miles north of Axmansford.

Do you cater for big events?

Truck and trailer service generally suits around 50 to 400 guests. Festivals can be bigger, and smaller parties are quoted case by case.

How much does Mexican catering cost in Axmansford?

It depends on guest numbers, the menu, the length of service and the location. Contact us for a quote.

Do you need electricity?

That depends on the set-up, and we agree power and water with you before the day. Let us know whether there’s a supply near where we’ll park.

What is mobile Mexican catering?

Our food truck or trailer is a mobile kitchen. We set up, serve your guests and clear away when service ends.

Do you do a taco bar?

We can. A build-your-own taco bar can be served from the truck or a serving station, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from. Read our taco bar guide.

Do you give allergen information?

We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, with allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we cannot promise anything is completely allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.

Where the truck can go in Axmansford

Many gardens, fields and venues can take a truck or trailer, but a few things matter:

  • Room for a queue in front of the serving hatch
  • Power and water arrangements, confirmed with each booking
  • A spot for a taco-bar serving table

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise before booking.
