Mexican catering near Jenkins' Green

Mexican catering in Jenkins' Green, from our truck or trailer

Planning taco catering for an event in Jenkins' Green? Our truck or trailer travels to events across Jenkins' Green and nearby: private gardens, venue grounds, courtyards and fields. It suits wedding breakfasts and evening food and summer garden parties, serving loaded nachos, tacos and burrito bowls.

Somewhere as small as Jenkins' Green, a garden or field is often the venue. Tell us about narrow lanes, gates and long drives and we will plan for them, and soft ground after rain is worth mentioning. You’ll know what’s included before booking: menu, timings and any add-ons.

Jenkins' Green questions

How far is Jenkins' Green from London?

Roughly 50 miles from the centre of London.

Can you serve near the sea around Jenkins' Green?

We can, given firm ground and the landowner’s permission. Beaches and promenades generally need the council’s agreement, so check that first.

Can you set up at our venue?

Level, firm ground, access for the truck or trailer and the venue’s agreement. Power and water are confirmed with each booking.

Is the food suitable for children?

Yes, children are welcome. Tell us how many and roughly how old, and we will suggest mild options.

What if the weather’s bad?

We can keep serving from the truck or trailer in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat and drink, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.

Can you cater for guests who avoid dairy?

We can. Dairy-free options are part of our menus.

Do you cook on site?

We slow-cook fillings ahead, then finish them and keep them hot at your event. The tortillas are warmed on site, and the salsas and guacamole are made fresh.

Do you provide allergen information for each dish?

Yes, and it helps to hear about allergies when you book. Under UK rules, caterers must give information on 14 allergens, and we give it for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.

Catering for every guest

A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Here’s how:

  • Add a dietary question to your RSVP
  • Have a covered area ready in case of rain
  • Send allergy details to us in writing
  • Count children separately

We work around your timings, and adapt if they move.

Loaded nachos make a good sharing starter.

The process

We take care of everything you’ve booked, from set-up to service, so you can enjoy your event. Evenings in Jenkins' Green stay light until about 9:15pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:00pm. Festoon lights or floodlights help once it gets dark.

  1. Begin with the date, the place and the numbers.
  2. We come back with menu ideas and a quote.
  3. Nearer the date, we go over the final plan.
  4. At the agreed time, service starts from the truck or trailer.
  5. When you are done, we pack away.

How to prepare

  • Choose a level, firm spot for the truck or trailer
  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain

Prices and what affects them

We will give you a clear quote. What affects it most:

  • Parking and the route in
  • Whether you need disposables
  • The number of people
  • Serving staff

A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, as there is no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.

Getting an accurate quote

When you get in touch, it helps to tell us:

  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • A picture of the space, if it is a garden or field
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground

Getting a quote is simple: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We will come back with a clear quote.

Is Mexican catering right for your event?

Compared with a hog roast or barbecue, Mexican street food is easier for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests, thanks to separate fillings and toppings. Got a budget? Let us know, and we’ll suggest a menu to match. A simple menu can still feel generous.

Why book with us

  • A truck or trailer that comes to you
  • A plan agreed before the day
  • Service planned around your numbers
  • A quote that sets out what’s included

Should I do it myself?

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

For event organisers in Jenkins' Green

Throwing a party at home? Send a picture of the space and tell us about access, and we’ll tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.

If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can plan ahead.

What we need at the venue

We will be honest if a space will not work, and help find another spot. The main points are:

  • A spot away from buildings, windows and neighbours
  • A spot for a taco-bar serving table
  • A clear area in front of the hatch for a queue

If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think.
