Mexican catering near Osidge

Mexican catering for your event in Osidge

Taco catering in Osidge is what we do best. Tacos are the heart of the menu: warm tortillas with your choice of fillings, plus fresh salsas, guacamole and toppings. Burritos, burrito bowls, loaded nachos and quesadillas can sit alongside them. At school fairs and fundraisers and garden get-togethers, we’ll put together a menu of burritos, burrito bowls and fresh salsas and guacamole.

Around Osidge, parking and loading are the main things to plan for a truck or trailer. Narrow streets and permit bays decide where we can stop, so let us know about off-street space, or whether the council will need to suspend a parking bay. Like all of Greater London, Osidge is inside the ULEZ. You can book food, drinks or both, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.

FAQs for Osidge

Is parking a problem for events in Osidge?

That depends on the street. A drive, a courtyard or a bay suspended by the council can all work, so tell us what’s outside your venue. The ULEZ covers all of Greater London.

Can you bring your truck or trailer to Oak Hill Park?

Only if the landowner, often the council, allows it. Ask them first, and we’ll help with the information they need from us.

Do you give allergen information?

Yes, and it helps to hear about allergies when you book. Under UK rules, caterers must give information on 14 allergens, and we do that for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.

When should we book?

As early as you can, especially for summer weekends. Ask about your date even if it is soon.

How is the food prepared?

Fillings are slow-cooked in advance, then finished and kept hot on site. The tortillas are warmed on site, and the salsas and guacamole are made fresh.

What are your prices?

We don’t publish set prices, because every event is different. Send your details and you will get a quote for your event.

Can you serve in bad weather?

Rain doesn’t stop service from the hatch. Plan a marquee, gazebo or indoor space for guests to eat in.

Who clears up?

We pack down and leave our area tidy. Let us know the venue’s rules on waste and we will talk it through.

Planners, venues and businesses

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Tell us what your venue needs and we’ll work to it.

If you’re booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll talk you through the process. We can work with your facilities team on access and timings.

Where the truck can go in Osidge

We’ll be honest if a space will not work, and help find another spot. The main points are:

  • Clear vehicle access: gate widths, height limits and the ground checked before the day
  • Space for a taco-bar table if you’ve chosen one
  • Agreement from the venue to bring a food truck or trailer on site

As a London location, Osidge is inside the ULEZ, and parking and loading take planning: let us know about permits, bays, off-street space or a parking suspension.

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise.

Questions to ask before you book

Should I do it myself?

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Contact us for a quote to compare.

How the day works

We get there well before you want to serve, then set up and prepare everything. Guests come up to order when service opens. A December event in Osidge will be in the dark from about 3:55pm, so choose a spot where guests can see what they’re ordering. In late June, by contrast, daylight lasts until about 9:20pm.

  1. It begins with the basics: your date, venue, guest numbers and dietary needs.
  2. You get a suggested menu, with fillings agreed with you, and a quote.
  3. Before the day, we agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
  4. We arrive, set up and cook to order, with salsas and guacamole made fresh.
  5. Once everyone has eaten, we tidy our serving area and head off.

Getting ready for the day

  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park
  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site

Planning help

Dietary needs and planning tips

Nearly every event has some special diets. To plan for them:

  • Let us know if a guest is coeliac
  • Have a covered area ready in case of rain
  • Add a dietary question to your RSVP
  • Tell us how many children are coming

On the day, we arrive in good time to park up and get ready. All we need is someone to show us the agreed spot.

Margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can be added from our drinks bar.

What’s on the menu

Quesadillas

A quesadilla is an easy favourite, and they go down well with children.

Build-your-own taco bar

The taco bar keeps things sociable, and guests with different diets can choose what suits them, with every dish labelled.

How we price Mexican catering

Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, depending on:

  • Whether you need disposables
  • Food, drinks or both
  • Parking and the route in
  • How long we’re needed on site

The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.

Details that help

We can quote more accurately with a few details. Here’s what’s useful:

  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • What you’d like on the menu
  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • A picture of the space, if it’s a garden or field

Not sure what you need yet? That is fine: tell us about the occasion and the guests, and we will make suggestions. When you’re ready, fill in our quote form.
