Mexican catering for Wealdstone events

Mexican catering for your event in Wealdstone

Taco catering in Wealdstone is what we do best. Serving from a truck or trailer keeps the mood easy-going. Guests come up to the hatch, chat while they wait and take something hot back to their seats, which suits informal events. At office lunches and team days and fundraisers and school events, we can serve quesadillas, loaded nachos and fresh salsas and guacamole and more.

Events in Wealdstone are often in courtyards, office forecourts, hired venues and gardens with side access. London gardens are often reached only through the house, so the truck or trailer may need to stay on a drive or the street, with permission. Send us a photo of the access. We serve from the hatch of our food truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan the service around your numbers.

The menu, item by item

Salsas and guacamole

The salsas and guacamole finish every plate.

Quesadillas

Quesadillas are simple and comforting, and they go down well with children.

Comparing your options

A cold buffet is simple but tends to sit out for hours. Tacos and burritos are made to order and served hot. Access, parking and the distance to your venue can affect the price, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed in your quote.

What you get with us

  • A plan agreed before the day
  • Allergen information for everything we serve
  • Food and drinks from one caterer, if you want both
  • Quoted for your event

See our pricing or our guide to catering costs.

How it works

The truck or trailer tends to draw a crowd, so we plan a spot with space for people to queue. We can serve in the rain, but guests will need somewhere covered. Daylight in Wealdstone runs to about 8:55pm in late May and 7:05pm in late September. If your event carries on later, tell us what lighting the venue has.

  1. First, send us your date, venue, numbers and any diets we should know about.
  2. You get a suggested menu, with fillings agreed with you, and a quote.
  3. We check access, power and water with you or the venue.
  4. On the day we arrive, set up and serve hot food from our food truck or trailer.
  5. When service ends, we pack down and clear our area.

Before we arrive

  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
  • Give us a contact for the day
  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches

Dietary needs and planning tips

Every guest is catered for, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan included. To get it right:

  • Ask guests with severe allergies to talk to us before the event
  • Collect dietary needs when guests reply
  • Include at least one vegan filling
  • Plan somewhere covered for guests to eat if it rains

We have allergen information for every dish at the hatch.

Space, access and the venue

Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but there are a few things to check:

  • Power and water arrangements, confirmed with each booking
  • Room for a serving table for the taco bar
  • Access wide and high enough to drive in, with gates and soft lawns checked first

London streets around Wealdstone can be narrow and busy, and all of Greater London sits inside the ULEZ. Tell us about loading, permits and any parking suspension when you enquire.

If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think before you book.

Should I do it myself?

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

Questions to ask before booking

Common questions in Wealdstone

Is it possible to have you in Headstone Manor Recreation Ground?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we’ll send what they need from us.

Which station is closest to Wealdstone?

Guests can use Harrow & Wealdstone station, which is right in Wealdstone.

How is the food prepared?

We cook to order in our food truck or trailer kitchen, or serve from a taco bar. Fillings are slow-cooked beforehand and finished on site.

Can you cater in a back garden?

Yes, as long as there’s access and a level, firm spot. Send us a photo of the access and the space, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it works.

What if the weather’s bad?

We can serve from the hatch in the rain. It’s worth planning a covered area for guests, and let us know if the ground gets soft after heavy rain.

Do you do a drinks bar?

Yes. The drinks bar offers margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and alcohol-free drinks. We will check the licensing with you.

Do you need electricity?

That depends on the set-up, so we confirm power and water arrangements with each booking. Tell us what’s available at your venue.

Can you run a bar?

Yes, we run a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and soft drinks. Your venue or event may need the right licence for alcohol, so we’ll go through the licensing with you.

Prices and what affects them

  • Whether you need disposables
  • The menu you choose
  • Guest numbers
  • Distance and access to the venue

If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll suggest a menu that fits. Even a simple menu can feel generous.
