Why us?

  • Menus for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests
  • Quick, friendly service from the hatch
  • Tacos, burritos and a drinks bar
  • Quoted for your event

How it works

Guests tend to gather around the truck, so we plan a spot with space for people to queue. Rain does not normally stop us serving, though guests will want somewhere covered to stand or sit. Christmas markets in Kingsash trade in the dark from about 3:55pm, so a lit pitch helps visitors find the truck. At midsummer, daylight lasts until roughly 9:25pm.

  1. We check your dates.
  2. We agree the menu and the pitch.
  3. Paperwork goes over in good time.
  4. We are ready to serve as visitors arrive.
  5. We serve, then clear the pitch at the end.

How to prepare

  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park
  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise.

Prices and what affects them

Each event is quoted on its own, based on a few main things:

  • Travel, parking and access
  • Whether you need disposables
  • The number of people
  • Timings and hours

Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so tell us what you have in mind. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

What to tell us

When you get in touch, it helps to tell us:

  • The date and rough timings
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • Your menu ideas
  • What power and water the site has

To get a price, just send a quick message through our quote form. Tell us about your event in Kingsash, and we will suggest a menu to suit.

For planners, venues and organisers

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.

Throwing a party at home? Send a picture of the space and tell us about access, and we will tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.

Planning for every diet

Mixed diets are straightforward to plan for, because guests can choose what suits them. A few tips:

  • Schedule crew meals
  • Check how traders handle peak times
  • Agree waste arrangements with traders
  • Put picnic tables near the traders
