Mexican street food in Puddledock, served fresh
For festivals, numbers can be larger than most of our events, so share expected numbers and trading hours and we’ll plan stock and service. It works well for music and food festivals and street food and farmers’ markets, with burrito bowls, quesadillas and tacos.

Comparing your options
Cooked-from-raw street food can slow queues. Our fillings are ready to go, so orders are quick. There is no one-size-fits-all price for Mexican street food. A simple party menu and a full wedding day are very different jobs. Contact us for a quote.

Space, access and the venue
We serve from a truck or trailer, so where we park matters. These are the things we check:
- A level pitch on firm ground
- Clear information on power, water and waste
- A pitch with space around it, away from tents and structures
If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think before you book.
Step by step
On the day, we position the truck or trailer and get the serving area ready. Service starts at the time we’ve agreed, planned around your event. Summer events in Puddledock have daylight until about 9:20pm at midsummer and about 7:05pm by late September, so evening trading generally finishes in daylight in high summer. For winter markets, dark by about 3:50pm, the pitch needs lighting.
- Organisers send us the event details, dates and pitch information.
- We confirm our menu, our pitch needs and the paperwork your event asks for.
- On the day, we arrive in the set-up window and get ready to trade.
- We serve from the hatch through the trading times you set.
- When trading ends, we pack down and leave the pitch clean.
How to prepare
- Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
- Confirm numbers and diets before the day
- Measure any gates or arches on the way in

Planning help
Can I do a taco night myself?
Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.
Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we’ll do the serving.
Prices and what affects them
These are the factors that matter most:
- Plates, napkins and cutlery
- How many staff you need
- How long we’re needed on site
- Parking and the route in
The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Give us your numbers and we’ll quote.
What to tell us
Here’s what makes a quick, accurate quote possible:
- Your menu ideas
- Where the event is
- Gate widths, slopes and the ground
- Diets and allergies you know about
It’s easy to get a price: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We’ll come back with a clear quote.
Planners, venues and businesses
Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we’ll keep everyone informed on the day.
For repeat events, such as annual staff parties or seasonal fairs, let us know your dates early, so we can plan ahead.
