Mexican street food in Sundridge, served fresh
Few stalls draw a queue like a Mexican food truck. The smell of warm tortillas and slow-cooked fillings brings people over, and orders come out fast from the hatch. Popular choices include loaded nachos, burrito bowls and tacos, and it’s a good fit for school fairs and fundraisers and village fairs.
In Sundridge, street events mean planning access, closures and where the truck fits. Tell us the pitch details and timings. We serve from the hatch of our truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan the service around your numbers.

A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, as there is no kitchen to hire. Contact us for a quote to compare.

Organising for someone else?
Many venues have rules for outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Tell us what your venue needs and we will work to it.
If you are planning an event on someone’s behalf, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we are happy to deal with you and the venue directly. It saves passing messages back and forth.
Is Mexican street food right for your event?
Food that sits in a hot cabinet isn’t much to look at. Our food is made to order. When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Contact us for a quote and we’ll set out what’s included.
Why us?
- Allergen information for everything we serve
- Every guest catered for, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan included

Sundridge questions
Can you bring your truck or trailer to Elmstead Wood?
It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we’ll send what they need from us.
Which station should guests use for Sundridge?
Sundridge has its own station: Sundridge Park station.
Do you need power and water?
That depends on the set-up, and we agree power and water with you before the day. Let us know whether there is a supply near where we will park.
How many guests can you serve?
Our truck and trailer service usually suits events of around 50 to 400 guests. Smaller parties are quoted case by case, and festivals can be larger. Tell us your numbers.
What do you serve?
Mexican street food and drinks: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, plus salsas, guacamole and toppings. We also run a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.
How long are you on site?
That depends on your event and menu. We agree arrival, service and pack-down times with you to suit your day.
Is there a vegan option at your stall?
Yes. Our stall menu includes vegan and gluten-free options, with allergen information for every dish.
How spicy is the food?
It’s up to you: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side. Read more about how spicy Mexican food is.
DIY taco night or a caterer?
For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles allergen information for you.
DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.
How the day works
On the day, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. We’re ready to serve at the agreed time, so everything runs to your schedule. Summer events in Sundridge have daylight until about 9:20pm at midsummer and about 7:05pm by late September, which helps evening trading. Winter markets, dark by about 3:55pm, need a well-lit pitch.
- Organisers send us the event details, dates and pitch information.
- We send our menu, pitch requirements and the documents you ask traders for.
- We arrive at the agreed time and set up on our pitch.
- We serve from the hatch through the trading times you set.
- We pack away and leave the pitch tidy.
Getting ready for the day
- Ask the venue about power and water
- Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
- Share the running order, including any speeches
