About Mexican catering in KT18
A build-your-own taco bar is one of the most sociable ways to feed a crowd. Guests fill their own tortillas from the fillings, salsas and toppings, so nobody ends up with something they do not want. It works well for garden get-togethers and wedding breakfasts and evening food, with quesadillas, a build-your-own taco bar and tacos.
From set-up to service, we look after everything you’ve booked from us, so you can enjoy your event.
- Share the date, the venue and how many are coming.
- We plan a menu that covers every diet.
- We confirm the way in and where we’ll park.
- Food is served from the hatch or a taco-bar table.
- After the last serving, we clear our area.
Prices in KT18
There’s no one-size-fits-all price for Mexican catering. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Contact us for a quote.

Catering events across KT18
Across KT18, we cater in 3 towns and 3 villages and hamlets, so whether your event is in Epsom, Tadworth and Great Burgh or a quiet village, the approach is the same: a level, firm spot, a way in and agreed timings.
Great Burgh: For a fête or sports day at a school such as Shawley Community Primary School, hot food from a truck or trailer saves the volunteers from cooking. Around Great Burgh, historic houses include Fitznells Manor (3 miles north) and Nonsuch Mansion (3.3 miles north). If your event is at a historic house or estate, check its rules on outside caterers and vehicles early. From late May to late September, sunset in Great Burgh moves from about 8:50pm to 7:05pm. Let us know if service will run after dark, and we will talk about lighting.
Prices and what affects them
Contact us for a quote, and the price is based on:
- How long we are needed on site
- Distance and access to the venue
- Whether you need disposables
- The number of people
What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so share your ideas with us. Tell us your budget and we will suggest a menu.
What we need to know
Here’s what makes a quick, accurate quote possible:
- Diets and allergies you know about
- The venue or postcode
- What you’d like on the menu
- The date and time of the event
Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, plus any dietary needs, and we’ll reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. To get started, tell us about it on our contact page.
Should I do it myself?
Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.
Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: see how many tacos per person. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label dishes for guests with allergies.
The menu, item by item
Quesadillas
A quesadilla is an easy favourite.
Salsas and guacamole
Every taco needs salsa and guacamole, and guests add as much as they like.
Planning for every diet
Allergies and diets are taken seriously. Help us by following these steps:
- Plan a vegan filling as well as a vegetarian one
- Mention any other caterers or courses
- Confirm the venue is happy to have a catering vehicle
- Ask guests with severe allergies to talk to us before the event
If you’ve chosen a taco bar, the fillings, salsas and toppings go out on a serving table, and guests build their own.
Burrito bowls are a good choice for anyone avoiding tortillas, and they’re easy to adapt for different diets.
Working with your venue
For larger events, we plan serving points around your timings, so guests are looked after quickly. Let us know how long the break is.
Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.
FAQs for KT18
What happens if it rains?
We can keep serving from the truck or trailer in the rain, but your guests will want somewhere covered, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.
Can you keep it mild?
We can keep it mild, and hotter salsas go on the side for guests who like heat.
Do you provide allergen information for each dish?
Our menus are planned with allergies in mind, nut allergies included, with allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we cannot promise anything is completely allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.
Can you serve drinks as well?
Yes. Our Mexican drinks bar serves margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and soft drinks. We will talk licensing through with you.
Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes, we offer gluten-free options, using corn tortillas. Let us know about coeliac guests in advance so we can explain how we prepare their food.
Is the food made fresh?
Food is cooked to order in our truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Fillings are slow-cooked beforehand and finished on site.
Do you take everything away?
We pack down and leave our area tidy. Tell us the venue’s rules on waste and clearing up and we’ll confirm the arrangements with your quote.
