Working with your venue

If you’re organising for someone else, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we’re happy to deal with you and the venue directly. It keeps things simple.

Events in public spaces, like parks, normally need permission. We will provide the information the landowner or council asks for from us.

About our Mexican street food in Great Burgh

Tacos, burritos and bowls are easy to eat on the move, which suits festival crowds. It works well for fundraisers and fêtes and open days and community events, serving burrito bowls, loaded nachos and burritos.

For events in a place like Great Burgh, one hot-food trader that suits most diets makes life easy. A Mexican street-food truck can do that. We serve from the hatch of our truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.

The process

Guests tend to gather around the truck, so we plan a spot with space for people to queue. We can serve in the rain, but guests will need somewhere covered. At midsummer, events in Great Burgh stay light until about 9:20pm, so evening trading normally finishes in daylight in high summer. For winter markets, dark by about 3:55pm, the pitch needs lighting.

  1. Organisers send us the event details, dates and pitch information.
  2. We confirm our menu, our pitch needs and the paperwork your event asks for.
  3. We set up the truck or trailer on the pitch at the agreed time.
  4. Tacos, burritos and more are served to order while the event is open.
  5. At the close, we clear our pitch.

  • Whether you add a drinks bar or food
  • Whether you need disposables
