Mexican catering in RG7: what to expect
Few things get guests chatting like a build-your-own taco bar. Everyone builds their own tacos from what’s laid out, so each plate is exactly how they like it. It suits school fairs and fundraisers and birthday parties, with burrito bowls, tacos and quesadillas.
Your timings come first. If things run behind, tell us and we will adjust the start of service where we can.
- Share the date, the venue and how many are coming.
- Together we plan a menu around your guests’ diets.
- We confirm the way in and where we will park.
- Food is served from the hatch or a taco-bar table.
- After the last serving, we clear our area.
What it costs in RG7
Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, as there is no kitchen to hire. Contact us for a quote to compare.

If your event is at a historic house or estate, check its rules on outside caterers and vehicles early. For a christening or wedding at a church such as Church of St Mary, a food truck at a garden or venue nearby is an easy way to feed everyone. Mexican catering or something else?
Pizza and burger vans are familiar choices. Tacos, burritos and nachos feel a little different, while still being easy food most people enjoy.
Questions to ask before booking
- A food hygiene rating you can check
- Whether plates, napkins and cutlery are included
- How bad weather is handled
- What the price includes, item by item
What Mexican catering costs
We quote for your event, which reflects:
- Whether you add a drinks bar or food
- Plates, napkins and cutlery
- The length of service
- Serving staff
Got a budget? Let us know, and we will suggest a menu that fits. Even a simple menu can feel generous.
What we need to know
You don’t need everything decided to ask for a quote, but these help:
- How we drive in and where we can park
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
- Approximate guest numbers, including children
- The address or venue name
The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote: venue, timings, menu ideas and access. When you are ready, use our quote form.
For planners, venues and organisers
For larger events, we plan serving points around your timings, so everyone is served promptly. Let us know how long the break is.
Throwing a party at home? Send a photo of the space and tell us about access, and we’ll tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.
DIY taco night or a caterer?
If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label dishes for guests with allergies.
Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.
Catering for every guest
A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Try these:
- Check that your venue allows outside caterers and vehicles
- Put guests with severe allergies in touch with us early
- Flag anyone with coeliac disease
- Plan somewhere covered for guests to eat if it rains
When service ends, we pack down and clear our area.
Quesadillas are a good choice for children and cautious eaters, because they’re simple.
Questions from RG7
Can you set up at our venue?
We need level, firm ground or hardstanding, access wide and high enough to drive in, and the venue’s permission. Power and water are confirmed with each booking.
Do you serve in the rain?
We can still serve in the rain. Plan a marquee, gazebo or indoor space for guests to eat in.
What do you need at the venue?
Access and level ground matter most: a level spot to park, space for guests to queue and a little room for a serving table. If in doubt, send us a photo of the space and the way in.
What food and drinks do you offer?
We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings might include chicken tinga, pork carnitas, al pastor-style pork and vegan options like black beans. Our sample menu has more ideas.
Can you plan for allergies?
Our menus are planned with allergies in mind, nut allergies included, with allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we cannot promise anything is completely allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.
How many guests can you serve?
Our truck and trailer service normally suits events of around 50 to 400 guests. Festivals can be bigger, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Tell us your numbers.
