Our Mexican catering in RG41

Food from a truck or trailer feels relaxed. Guests come up to the hatch, chat while they wait and take something hot back to their seats, which suits informal events. On the menu are a build-your-own taco bar, burritos and loaded nachos, and it suits staff parties and office lunches and leaving dos and retirement parties.

Service is quick and friendly: guests are served at the hatch or a serving station, so a crowd is looked after quickly. When service ends, we pack down.

  1. First, send us your date, venue, numbers and any diets we should know about.
  2. We suggest a sample menu and send a quote for your event.
  3. Together we confirm where the truck or trailer will park, plus power and water.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve from the truck or trailer, or from a taco-bar station.
  5. After service, we clear away and leave the spot tidy.

Catering events across RG41

Across RG41, we cater in 3 towns and 3 villages and hamlets, so the setting can be anything from Lower Earley, Winnersh and Woosehill to a quiet hamlet: access, level ground and a clear plan.

Winnersh: Parents planning a fundraiser at a school like The Forest School might find a Mexican street-food truck draws families in. By road, Winnersh is on or near the B3030, which makes it easy for us to reach with the truck or trailer. Planning an evening event in Winnersh? Sunset is around 8:55pm in late May, 9:25pm at midsummer and 7:05pm in late September. Festoon lights or floodlights help once it gets dark.

  • Parking and the route in
  • Food, drinks or both

Popular choices

Build-your-own taco bar

A serving table of fillings, salsas and toppings, with tortillas kept warm. Everyone builds their own.

Salsas and guacamole

Salsas and guacamole, made fresh for your event.

Can I do a taco night myself?

Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Ask us for a quote and compare.

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label dishes for guests with allergies.

Planning for every diet

Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included. To make it work smoothly:

  • Flag anyone with coeliac disease
  • Add a dietary question to your RSVP
  • Include at least one vegan filling
  • Have a covered area ready in case of rain

We arrive early enough to set up calmly. Someone from the venue just needs to point us to the agreed spot.

Margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can be added from our drinks bar, with licensing checked with you.

Is Mexican catering right for you?

A drop-off platter is easy, but nobody remembers it. Live service from a truck or trailer gives guests hot food and something to talk about.

Comparing caterers

  • The deposit and payment dates
  • If the price includes VAT
  • How many staff are serving, and for how long
  • The deadline for final numbers

Your questions about Mexican catering in RG41

Who clears up?

We pack down and tidy our own area after service. For anything beyond that, such as guests’ tables, ask us.

Are plates and napkins included?

Please ask us. Let us know what you already have, and we will confirm what’s included with your quote.

What access do you need?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, plus the venue’s permission. We confirm power and water with you for each booking.

Do you cater for coeliacs?

Yes, with corn tortillas. Corn tortillas are naturally gluten-free, but some fillings, sauces and toppings may not be, so we plan gluten-free dishes carefully and give allergen information.

Is the food made fresh?

Food is cooked to order in our food truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.

What if the weather’s bad?

The truck or trailer can serve in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat and drink, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.

How many guests can you cater for?

That depends on the event. Most bookings fall around 50 to 400 guests, but tell us your numbers and we will plan around them.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
