Mexican catering in SL4: what to expect
Fillings are slow-cooked in advance and kept hot on site, while the salsas and guacamole are made fresh. Tortillas are warmed as we serve. We serve quesadillas, a build-your-own taco bar and tacos, and it suits engagement and anniversary parties and family celebrations.
The truck or trailer tends to draw a crowd, so we’ll help you choose a spot with room for a queue. We can serve in the rain, but guests will need somewhere covered.
- First, send us a few details about your event.
- We suggest fillings and extras and send a quote.
- Access, the serving spot, power and water are agreed in advance.
- We arrive, set up and serve from the hatch.
- Once service ends, we clear away.

Taco catering in SL4: local guide
From Windsor, Chalvey and Dedworth to 16 villages and hamlets, events across SL4 range from town-centre venues to gardens and fields, and a truck or trailer suits most settings with access and level ground. In towns, plan parking and loading; in villages, tell us about lanes, gates and ground.
Windsor: A school such as St Edward's Catholic First School running a summer fair or fundraiser could book a taco truck. Thinking of an event in Sutherland Grange? Public parks normally need the landowner’s permission for a food truck, so check first. Planning an evening event in Windsor? Sunset is around 8:55pm in late May, 9:25pm at midsummer and 7:05pm in late September. Festoon lights or floodlights help once it gets dark.
Planning for every diet
Nearly every event has some special diets. To cater well for them:
- Guests with serious allergies should speak to us in advance
- Tell us how many children are coming
- Mention any other caterers or courses
- Send allergy details to us in writing
We arrive early enough to set up calmly. All we need is someone to show us the agreed spot.
Loaded nachos make a good sharing starter or as a late snack.

For planners, venues and organisers
If you are planning an event on someone’s behalf, whether you’re a planner, an office manager or an event organiser, we’ll work directly with you and the venue. It saves passing messages back and forth.
For repeat events, such as annual staff parties or seasonal fairs, let us know your dates early, so we can plan ahead.
Why street food works
Tacos and burritos go down well with most crowds: familiar, filling and easy to eat wherever guests are.
Here are some of the events we cater:
- Fairs and festivals
- Office lunches and team days
- Retirement and leaving parties
- Wedding breakfasts and evening food
Before you choose a spot
We’ll be honest if a space will not work, and help find another spot. The main points are:
- Agreement from the venue to bring a food truck or trailer on site
- Power and water arrangements, confirmed with each booking
- Some distance from houses and neighbours
SL4 questions
Do you have dairy-free options?
Yes, on request. Tell us how many guests need dairy-free food, and we’ll include them in the plan.
How soon do we need to book?
As soon as you have a date. Peak dates go quickly, so get in touch early.
Can you plan for allergies?
Yes, and it helps to hear about allergies when you book. UK law requires caterers to provide information on 14 allergens, and we do that for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). For severe allergies, please talk to us first.
Can you serve in bad weather?
Rain does not stop service from the hatch. Plan a marquee, gazebo or indoor space for guests to eat in.
How many guests can you serve?
It depends on the menu and how long service runs, but our truck and trailer service typically suits around 50 to 400 guests. For anything outside that, ask us.
What’s on the menu?
Tacos and taco bars, plus burritos, burrito bowls, nachos and quesadillas. See our sample menu.
Do you have vegan options?
Yes, and we plan them in from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect, and we will keep their options separate.
- Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
- Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
- Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
