Taco bar hire in Acton, served fresh

Add burrito bowls, loaded nachos or quesadillas if you’d like more choice. Margaritas and aguas frescas from our drinks bar can be added, with licensing checked with you. It suits evening wedding receptions and leaving dos, serving pickled onions and toppings, warm corn and flour tortillas and slow-cooked fillings kept hot.

In a London neighbourhood like Acton, a taco bar is handy when the truck can’t reach the garden or the room. Our staff set up a serving station on a table, and guests build their own tacos. We still need to park and unload close by, so tell us about loading bays, permits or a parking suspension. All of Greater London is inside the ULEZ. Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included, with allergen information for everything we serve.

Taco bar hire or something else?

Sandwich platters are convenient but forgettable. Warm tortillas and hot fillings give a lunch more to talk about. Got a budget? Let us know, and we’ll suggest a menu that fits. Even a simple menu can feel generous.

What you get with us

  • Allergen-aware menus
  • A truck or trailer that comes to you
  • Access, space and power checked in advance
  • We cover Acton and the whole of Greater London

See how we price and our guide to catering costs.

Catering for every guest

Most events have a mix of diets. To cater well for them:

  • Plan the taco bar around speeches and timings
  • Put guests with serious allergies in touch with us early
  • Ask guests about diets and allergies on the RSVP
  • Make sure guests have somewhere to sit

We warm tortillas in batches and keep the fillings hot, so the bar stays fresh from the first plate to the last.

Our food truck or trailer can serve later in the day, after the taco bar.

FAQs for Acton

Can you set up a taco bar where your truck cannot park in Acton?

Yes, with the venue’s agreement: our staff set up the station where your guests are. We still need somewhere close by to unload, and in London that may mean a loading bay or a parking suspension.

What about parking in Acton?

It can be tricky, so tell us about parking bays, permits or a driveway. A parking suspension may be needed, and the whole of Greater London is inside the ULEZ.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes. We can include vegetarian and vegan fillings like black beans or spiced mushrooms.

Can you cater in a back garden?

That depends on access. If the truck or trailer cannot reach the garden, a drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission. Send us a photo and we will talk it through.

What happens if it rains?

We can serve from the hatch in the rain. Plan cover for guests, such as a marquee or gazebo, and tell us if heavy rain could make the ground soft.

What about power on site?

That depends on the set-up, so we confirm power and water arrangements with each booking. Tell us what’s available at your venue.

How much space do you need?

A level, firm spot for the truck or trailer, with access wide and high enough to drive in, plus the venue’s permission. We confirm power and water with you for each booking.

Do you clear up afterwards?

We pack down and leave our area tidy. Let us know the venue’s rules on waste and we will confirm the arrangements with your quote.

The menu, item by item

Toppings

Toppings let guests finish their tacos their way.

Vegan fillings

Spiced mushroom, or black bean and sweet potato, cooked separately.

Before you choose a spot

Before the day, we’ll agree where we park and serve. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • Cover overhead if the bar is outdoors
  • Power and water arrangements, confirmed with each booking
  • The venue’s or landowner’s agreement

In Acton, as everywhere in Greater London, the ULEZ applies and kerb space is limited. Where will the truck or trailer stop? A drive, a courtyard or a suspended bay can all work.

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise.

Menu ideas

  • Vegan fillings
  • Corn and flour tortillas
  • Pickled onions and toppings
  • Tortilla chips
  • Two to four fillings
  • Salsas and guacamole

How the day works

We arrive in good time before service, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. In Acton, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so a summer taco bar outside normally runs in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 3:55pm, so guests will need light to see the fillings and toppings.

  1. Start with your date, venue and guest numbers.
  2. Together we choose what goes on the bar.
  3. The venue confirms where the bar goes and where we park.
  4. Our staff set out the bar and guests build their own tacos.
  5. We clear the bar away after service.

Before we arrive

  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
  • Tell us what power and water the site has
  • Choose a level, firm spot for the truck or trailer
