Taco bar hire in Beacon Hill, from our truck or trailer

Fillings are agreed with you, such as pork carnitas, chicken tinga or beef birria, with a vegan filling like black bean and sweet potato or spiced mushroom. For birthday celebrations and summer garden parties, we can serve burrito bowls, fresh salsas and warm corn and flour tortillas for your guests.

Near Beacon Hill, a taco bar next to the truck in a field or garden works well. Let us know about the gate, the ground and the route in, and we will confirm power and water with you. We arrive ready to serve, and clear our own area when service is finished.

FAQs for Beacon Hill

Can you bring a truck or trailer to venues in the Chilterns National Landscape?

Yes, though some venues in protected landscapes have extra rules; ask your venue. Tell us about narrow lanes and soft ground.

Is Beacon Hill close to London?

It’s about 27 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Do you need electricity?

It depends on the event and the set-up, and we agree power and water with you before the day. Tell us what’s available at your venue.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

Ask us when you enquire. Tell us what your venue provides, and we’ll set out plates, napkins and cutlery in your quote.

What do you serve?

Mexican street food and drinks: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, plus salsas, guacamole and toppings. We also run a Mexican drinks bar.

Can you set up where a truck can’t get in?

The taco bar can be served from a table or station away from the truck. We still need somewhere close to unload our vehicle, and the venue has to agree.

What is a build-your-own taco bar?

Each guest builds tacos from the fillings, salsas and toppings laid out. We run the bar from set-up to pack-down.

Do you do parties at home?

That depends on access. A drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission, if the garden itself is out of reach. Send us a picture and we will talk it through.

How it works

Serving is quick: we serve from the hatch or a serving station, so even a long queue moves. Afterwards we clear our area. Around midsummer it stays light in Beacon Hill until about 9:25pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:05pm, so a summer taco bar outside normally runs in daylight. In December it is dark by about 3:55pm, so guests will need light to see the fillings and toppings.

  1. Share a few details about the event.
  2. We send a sample spread and a quote.
  3. We check power, water and access with your venue.
  4. We arrive, unload and lay out warm tortillas, fillings and toppings.
  5. Afterwards, we pack down and leave the area tidy.

Working with your venue

For big numbers, we plan service to keep queues short, so everyone is served promptly. Let us know how long the break is.

If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can check the date.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included. To get it right:

  • Collect dietary needs with your replies
  • Make sure one filling is vegan
  • Confirm a loading spot close to the bar
  • Confirm any allergies to us by email

Each dish is labelled, and allergen information is kept at the bar.

Loaded nachos make a good starter while the bar is set up.

Perfect for your event in Beacon Hill

You aren’t limited to places a truck can park, such as a courtyard, a barn or a hall, with the venue’s agreement.

A truck or trailer suits almost any gathering. People in Beacon Hill can book us for events such as:

  • Garden parties
  • Birthday parties
  • Working lunches
  • Evening wedding receptions

When the service is at a church such as Parish Church of Holy Trinity, the taco bar would be set up at the reception venue rather than the church.

What taco bar hire costs

Each event is quoted on its own, and the price depends on a few things:

  • Serving staff
  • Plates, napkins and cutlery
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Your choice of food and drinks

If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll suggest a menu that fits. Even a simple menu can feel generous.

Getting an accurate quote

When you get in touch, it helps to tell us:

  • A photo of the space, if it’s a garden or field
  • What you’d like on the menu
  • The venue or postcode
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground

A detailed enquiry gets a more accurate quote: venue, timings, menu ideas and access. When you’re ready, send a quick message through our quote form.

  • Power and water arrangements, confirmed with each booking
  • Room nearby to park and unload our vehicle

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise before booking.
