Taco bar hire for Box Hill events

Taco bar hire in Box Hill, from our food truck or trailer

Our taco bar travels to events across Box Hill and the surrounding area: from barns and marquees to gardens, halls and offices, wherever there’s room for the table. At anniversary parties and summer garden parties, we will put together a menu of fresh salsas, a build-your-own taco bar and warm corn and flour tortillas for your guests.

Near Box Hill, a marquee or barn makes a good home for a taco bar. Our staff set up the station and run it through service; tell us about access and parking. We prepare everything fresh for your event and serve it straight from our food truck or trailer, so guests get it at its best.

Box Hill: venues, access and set-up

Box Hill is about 2 miles north-east of Dorking, in Surrey. For taco bar hire in Box Hill, we plan around your venue and timings: a quote, a plan and friendly service on the day. We cover 395 places in Surrey. Our truck and trailer cover the area from Box Hill to Crawley (11 miles away).

For guests coming by train, Betchworth station is about 0.8 miles away. Parks such as Brockham Limeworks generally need the owner’s agreement for catering, even without a truck on the grass, so ask before you plan. Dietary needs and planning tips

A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Here’s how:

  • Tell us how many children are coming
  • Confirm a loading spot close to the bar
  • Include a vegan filling on the bar
  • Plan the taco bar around speeches and timings

If speeches or timings run over, we keep the fillings hot and start when you’re ready.

Loaded nachos make a good starter while the bar is set up.

Why choose taco bar hire in Box Hill?

Guests on special diets don’t need a separate meal.

If you’re planning any of these, we can help:

  • Birthday celebrations
  • Barn and marquee parties
  • Engagement parties
  • Company parties

When the service is at a church such as St. Andrew's Church, the taco bar would be set up at the reception venue rather than the church.

Our caterer checklist

Your questions about taco bar hire in Box Hill

We are having a ceremony at St. Andrew's Church: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Can you bring your truck or trailer to Brockham Limeworks?

Only with permission from whoever runs the park, often the council. Ask them first, and we’ll help with the information they need from us.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

That is confirmed with each quote. Let us know what the venue supplies.

Can you cater for guests who avoid dairy?

We can. Dairy-free options are part of our menus, and we’ll tell you which dishes contain milk.

What access do you need?

The main things are access and a level spot: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. If in doubt, send us a picture of the space and the way in.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

Truck and trailer service generally suits around 50 to 400 guests. Festivals can be bigger, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Send us your numbers and we will advise.

Do you provide allergen information for each dish?

Our menus are planned with allergies in mind, nut allergies included, and give allergen information for every dish. We plan carefully and keep options separate, though we can’t promise a dish is allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.

How is the food prepared?

We slow-cook fillings ahead, then finish them and keep them hot at your event. Tortillas are warmed on site, and salsas and guacamole are made fresh.

Organising for someone else?

If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can check the date.

Throwing a party at home? Send us a picture of the space and tell us about the drive and gates, and we will let you know if it’s a good fit.

Is taco bar hire right for your event?

Plated meals depend on a kitchen and a team of waiting staff. A taco bar needs a serving spot, somewhere close to unload and the venue’s agreement, with power and water confirmed when you book. If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll suggest a menu to match. A simple menu can still feel generous.
