Taco bar hire in Bridgemary, from our truck or trailer

Truck and trailer bookings generally suit around 50 to 400 guests, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Share your headcount and we will size the taco bar to match. At garden parties and evening receptions, we can serve a build-your-own taco bar, guacamole and slow-cooked fillings kept hot for your guests.

Near Bridgemary, a hall or club may suit a taco bar if your own space is tight; we need the venue’s permission, a level spot and somewhere to unload. We’ll check the space, access and power with you before the day, so there are no surprises on arrival.

Can I do a taco night myself?

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label anything containing allergens.

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

  • Any travel, parking or access charges
  • What the price includes, item by item

Choosing a Mexican caterer

Planning for every diet

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. We suggest:

  • Choose at least one vegan filling
  • Count children separately
  • Let us know about anyone who is coeliac
  • Check where our vehicle can unload

Staff stay at the taco bar to refill bowls and answer questions.

Loaded nachos make a good starter while the bar is set up.

The process

It’s a relaxed, well-organised set-up. Arrival and serving times are agreed beforehand, get the serving area ready, and get on with serving. Around midsummer it stays light in Bridgemary until about 9:20pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:10pm, so an outdoor taco bar in summer is usually served in daylight. For winter events, dark by about 4:00pm, plan good lighting over the station.

  1. Begin with the date and headcount.
  2. We agree a menu that covers every diet.
  3. We fix timings with you and the venue.
  4. Service starts when your running order says.
  5. We clear our station when service ends.

How it compares

Pizza is a safe choice, but a taco bar lets every guest design their own plate. Access, parking and the distance to your venue can affect the price, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. Your quote confirms the full price.

Can you do gluten-free food?

Yes, with corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we check every dish and give allergen information.

London and South East England: Greater London, Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire, including Bridgemary.

What if the weather’s bad?

Rain doesn’t generally stop service from the truck or trailer. It is worth planning a covered area for guests, and let us know if the ground gets soft after heavy rain.

Who clears up?

We pack down and leave our area tidy. Let us know the venue’s rules on waste and we will talk it through.
