Taco bar hire in Chipstead

About our taco bar hire in Chipstead

Fillings are agreed with you, such as pork carnitas, chicken tinga or beef birria, plus a vegan choice such as spiced mushroom or black bean and sweet potato. It works well for retirement parties and wedding meals, with a build-your-own taco bar, warm corn and flour tortillas and fresh salsas.

In a small place like Chipstead, a taco bar might go in a garden, a barn or a nearby hall. If the truck can’t get close, we can set the station up nearer your guests, though we still need to unload within a short walk. We arrive ready to serve, and clear our own area when service is finished.

Where vehicles cannot reach the room, the station can be set up there with the venue’s agreement, but we still need to unload close by.

Diets, allergies and planning

With a little notice, most diets are easy. Our advice:

  • Ask guests about diets and allergies on the RSVP
  • Ask the venue where we can park to unload
  • Tell us how many children are coming
  • Agree the serving spot with your venue early

Our staff stand behind the bar to top up dishes and help guests.

Our drinks bar can sit alongside the taco bar for margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas, with licensing checked with you.

Questions from Chipstead

Can the taco bar go in a local hall rather than outside?

Yes, with the venue’s permission. Tell us about the parking, the doors and the space for the station.

Will you travel to a small place like Chipstead?

Yes, we cater in villages and hamlets as well as towns. Tell us about lanes, gates, ground and parking.

Do you do parties at home?

It depends on access. A drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission, if the garden itself is out of reach. Send us a photo and we will talk it through.

What does a taco bar cost?

There is no price list, because no two events are the same. Share your plans and you will get a quote. See what Mexican catering costs for background.

Do you cater in Chipstead?

Yes. We cover London and the South East, and Chipstead is within our area. For a quote, use our quote form.

Do you cook on site?

Food is cooked to order in our truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.

What if a vehicle cannot reach the serving spot?

It can go beside the truck or trailer, or somewhere a vehicle can’t reach. We need a nearby place to unload, plus the venue’s agreement.

Do you take everything away?

We pack down and leave our area tidy. Tell us the venue’s rules on waste and clearing up and we will confirm the arrangements with your quote.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Contact us for a quote to compare.

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles allergen information for you.
